Whelp, if Howard can't cover it, I guess no one at Fox will cover it. Link above is gifted.Fox News host Howard Kurtz, who anchors a weekly show on the media industry, said he has been told not to cover the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed against Fox by Dominion Voting Systems.
Kurtz revealed the prohibition during Sunday’s episode of “MediaBuzz” after he received criticism for not covering revelations about the network that came out of a recent filing by Dominion.
“Some of you have been asking why I’m not covering the Dominion voting machines lawsuit against Fox involving the unproven claims of election fraud in 2020, and it’s absolutely a fair question,” he said midway through Sunday morning’s program. “I believe I should be covering it. It’s a major media story, given my role here at Fox. But the company has decided that as part of the organization being sued, I can’t talk about it or write about it, at least for now.”

At least three prominent Fox News stars are set to be axed from the embattled news network to help Rupert Murdoch save face amid the ongoing $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against him and his company, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In the latest development to come shortly after Murdoch admitted he did nothing to stop his Fox News talent from “promoting” ex-President Donald Trump’s baseless claims the 2020 presidential election was rigged, network insiders believe the 92-year-old billionaire media magnate will commit “blood sacrifices” in an effort to save the network’s bottom line.
Among the names on the list of those to be potentially axed from the network include popular Fox News stars such as Sean Hannity, Maria Bartiromo, and Jeanine Pirro.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott is also reportedly set to be “sacrificed” in a last-ditch effort for the network to avoid losing any of its millions of audience members due to the ongoing Fox-Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit scandal.

I'm guessing it will the exact opposite effect. Cowering to pressure isn't what the RWNJs lust for.Among the names on the list of those to be potentially axed from the network include popular Fox News stars such as Sean Hannity, Maria Bartiromo, and Jeanine Pirro.

Yes, but this isn't RWNJs in general. This is Murdoch in particular facing a $1.6B lawsuit. He may want to shave something off the final settlement, which might be helped a few million by getting rid of them, and he determines whether they go.
So there is some reason for optimism. (But I would still be surprised.)

Really? You don't think the pub house would be demanding that Murdoch appear before them and explain why he is "censuring" their favorite announcers? Claim that FOX is anti-conservative. It would be so lovely to watch them take each other down.

Well, that is certainly a possibility. I would love to see it. Murdoch already testified under oath that the Fox news anchors pushed a story known to be false. He would use that as the explanation, and I don't think that the House pubs would want that to be emphasized in a House hearing, which is what would happen. I don't think they are that dumb. I could be wrong.
