I think I am a crazy old woman dog person. I had planned to be a crazy cat old lady. But things happened. And then Mocha appeared.
When I go to stores, I bring my dog with me, and so far we are allowed to come into several stores including Target. Heading to Macy's and Safeway next.

Dogs!
I fell in love with a Norwegian Elkhound that came into the hippie emporium where I worked. The next day his mom came back and gave me one of her pups. Best dog I ever had. Ever.
Elkhound/shepherd mix. When he was a puppy I had him at work with me. We went to Lums for dinner after work almost every night while he was still tiny and he would fall asleep in my purse. The waitresses used to sneak us steak bones.
This dog. We were staying at my parents’ house for a few days. They had no fence on their yard. I was gone one day and mom let him out. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. A bemused police woman asked mom is that your dog? He was sitting politely in the passenger seat of her police cruiser. He’s just jumped in when she got out to check his tags.
Once at a gas station (before self serve) he reached out the window and gently took the attendant’s big wad of bills as he was counting my change. He also chased robbers out of our emporium during the Christmas holidays when we were jammed and had tons of cash on hand.
One landlord offered me 6 month’s rent for him. I declined.

That must be one darn fun household! Do they ever get any sleep? Do all the dogs try to pile into bed with them? My Maggie always had to sleep on the foot of my bed, she was such a sweetie, followed me everywhere, no matter which room i went into.

Here's a heartwarming story about the dog from the latest Predator movie (prequel?). (I'm not a fan of the series but I did enjoy that one.)
