He seems upset...

Bannon melted down tonight over the Special Counsel, calling for DOJ to be defunded, Biden, Garland, Wray and Mayorkas to be impeached, called the FBI the ‘American Gestapo,’ and finished by calling all of them “pussies.”

Not sure what that means but I think he'll have to settle for the top bunk in prison.

Put another way:

Trump doesn’t hire the best. They won’t work for him. So he got the second and third rate advisors.

Bannon -second rate or third? Lower?

So the anti-vax neo-Nazis in Italy that I have been talking about? They got raided by Italian anti-terror police this week and were apparently ready to carry out violent attacks — and at least one member reportedly has ties to Steve Bannon.

Italian Cops Take Down Occult Neo-Nazi Group Preparing Violent Attacks
The Order of Hagal reportedly had significant international contacts, with overseas training, links to Ukraine militants, and even claimed to have met with former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.

And I think all of us can assure all of the rest of us without even speaking to him that Bannon is shocked, shocked, to hear about this.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,
As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Judge just forced Schoen to be explicitly clear, so Bannon's lawyer revealed:

Bannon can't get along with his legal team, doesn't agree on anything, and refuses to talk to them directly.

Looks like Mr. War Room has gone to war with his own lawyers.

He's probably pissed because they won't argue in court that his actions were justified because the election was stolen by the Democrats, working in collusion with the Russians and Chinese.

https://6abc.com/ex-trump-adviser-steve ... /12693806/
Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon has asked a judge to let him change lawyers as he defends himself against charges that he defrauded donors to the "We Build the Wall" campaign that was supposed to raise money for former President Donald Trump's signature domestic project.

Echoing his support of the pro-Trump crowd that attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Bannon told reporters as he entered the courtroom Thursday that the recent election in Brazil was "stolen" from far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro and that protesters who stormed three government buildings in Brazil's capital on Sunday were "freedom fighters."

Bannon ignored questions from reporters asking if he was advising anyone in Brazil's protest movement.

Inside the courtroom, Bannon attorney David Schoen told Judge Juan Merchan that "irreconcilable differences have arisen" on Bannon's defense team.

"We certainly don't need to show good cause and we don't need to go into detail," Schoen said.

can this go on forever?

Get new counsel
be a total asshole
irreconcilable differences
repeat

That seems like something the court would not be too happy with.

The phrase should be "If you cant find it in yourself to get on with people who are trying to argue in your best interests, that is not the Courts problem nor is it your advocates. Fix yourself. See you in court"

Bannon has been meddling in global politics for years with his populist far-right nihilistic agenda. Brexit, Trump, Italy, Brazil, etc.

He is a global menace, but I really can’t discern any reason that anybody listens to him.

It is, which is why the court here isn't letting counsel just withdraw.

The court needs to make some findings if it going to deny the request, to make protect the record for the inevitable claim on appeal.

This kind of gamesmanship occasionally happens, but usually not in such high-profile cases.

It seems to happen a lot in cases involving sovereign citizens, who want their lawyer to argue that the defendent isn't bound by the laws of the state or the US because he/she did not consent to be governed or has "renounced" their US citizenship or that they are not the strawman that has been named in the charging documents or that a driver's license is not required because of their inalienable right to travel.

It is most common in sovcits. And people looking at extremely long sentences, who have nothing to lose by not cooperating.

People paying by the hour usually are concerned with how much this folly is costing them. But Bannon likely has patrons or marks for that.

Any lawyer who doesn’t get their money up front from these con artists and grifters deserve to get stiffed. The guy ripped off his own supporters on his wall scam. They are too dumb to figure it out too.
