Loved all the numbers!!!! Gonna show 'em to my drummer/guitarist Firstborn Son. Joe Green's Requiem is stirring. I'd be watching for the coffin lid to pop up!

There is an excellent doco on the 50th anniversary of King Crimson doing the theatre rounds here in Aussieland. I see that it was shown at South By Southwest also.John Thomas8 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 21, 2022 6:30 pm Love the triple drummers:

Catch it if you can and you are even a passing fan.

Supertramp holds a special place in my heart. I was in school year 5 or 6 and spent the night at a new friends house (Hi Tyler). He only had a twin bed so we made our own on the floor. (camping style). Well, my friend, unbeknownst to me, still had bladder control issues. He peed everywhere in the middle of the night. Now I did not poke fun and we got everything cleaned up and fresh linens. And we never spoke of it again.
But, Supertramp was at the top of charts then. Memories stamped. Ty peed the bed.

All my ideas are worth twice their weight in pure gold.
Here, put one on the scale, let's check.
See? Two times ... that was a small one.

Yeah, just for fun I watched the other Everybody Wants to Rule the World, and ... oh, man, so anachronistic!
You watch for yourself - the dude in the video stops his car at a gas station.
He gets out and he goes into some sort of glass booth.
He picks up something in the booth and puts it to his ear.
He puts a quarter in the machine on the wall of the glass booth.
He starts pushing buttons on the machine! What is he doing?

Same and likewise, my brother.
Lately, I have to get up dancing in the morning, in a world gone insane it's the only answer.
Get out of bed.
Dance. Listen to music and dance.
Then you know it's gonna be okay.

I was gonna put in some country swing today, but I just found a bunch of acts that grew up in Tucson since I left (well Calexico did too) and I thought I'd give 'em a swing. This guy caught my attention.
