I have to think that "chewing your cud" must involve a bit of that. Don't cows have seven stomachs? What's the cud like after the sixth go round? I know various mammals, like rabbits, have to recycle their droppings on the principle that there is a lot of good eating still in there. I.e. their intestines are too short.

And you are essentially correct about rabbits, but they don't actually eat their droppings, but are eating what are known as cecotropes.
(I know way too much about all this stuff, don't I?)

Had a doctor appt yesterday so I'm sitting in the waiting room, in my mask, which are required in that office, thank goodness, and two older ladies are in the corner bitching about masks, then covid, then, natch, vaccines, waste of money, they don't work, blah, blah, blah....The first women caught covid and was very sick, so sick she couldn't get out of bed for two weeks, but stayed home. The other woman says she lost her husband...to covid, two years this coming December (before vaccines were available). She also caught it and had to be hospitalized but survived. She's a widow now, but you can't make her get a vaccine!!!!!

Whoa, watch the end of that, he's talking about the next evolutionary step in intelligence - machine intelligence.
I'm not entirely sure that machine intelligence will be controlled by Satan. Maybe God should put Jesus in some computer classes, no reason they couldn't compete to control Skynet.
Food for thought, or roostery malarkey?

I got the Pfizer bivalent yesterday (5th shot) and already feel smarter than most people as the nanites multiply.

I've worked with a few security engineers that use machine learning when developing software. They are almost Satan like. Maybe minions?Foggy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 12:52 pm Whoa, watch the end of that, he's talking about the next evolutionary step in intelligence - machine intelligence.

Look! Vaccinations are no good!!!
WaPo Coronavirus newsletter wrote:On Saturday, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla tweeted that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. “I'm feeling well & symptom free,” he said. Bourla, who previously tested positive in mid-August, added that he hasn't received one of the new bivalent boosters yet because he “was following CDC guidelines to wait 3 months since my previous COVID case.”

As a teacher, I have worn a mask for 3 years.
After I get this vaccine and give it a month, I just may ditch the mask. I am so tired of it
Most of my students do not wear one

I'm wearing one most of the time when I'm indoors among people, except eating of course. I have gotten increasingly lax, however, especially going into places where I'm going to take it off. I hate my glasses getting steamed up, and nothing I've tried works.sad-cafe wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 9:50 pmI get mine on Friday~pipistrelle wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 1:05 pm I got the Pfizer bivalent yesterday (5th shot) and already feel smarter than most people as the nanites multiply.

I don't wear it at work much anymore, except sometimes walking around, getting drinks, etc.
I find the paper medical masks to be the most comfortable.
So far, knock wood, COVID-free, but I'm 80 percent hermit so not entirely surprising.

Yeah, and it boggles my mind there are still anti-vaxxers, and they're still dying when they don't have to. My co-workers have gotten COVID, one of them at least twice, and while they say it's unpleasant, they're still alive because vaxxed.

I remember being promised that if I installed Windows 11, there would be an app for controlling the vaccine zombies.raison de arizona wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 12:45 pmRight Wing Watch @RightWingWatch wrote: Steven Hotze, a Texas-based religious-right activist and doctor, says that those who have received COVID-19 vaccines "become connected to the internet of things and you can be mind-controlled by artificial intelligence through maybe 5G."
I was an early W11 adopter, and I have searched high and low, but I can't find the app.
What am I missing?
