She either has no idea what the job is or is just pushing base buttons by claiming to fight inflation, repeal a tax, defend constitutional rights, etc.
It's treasurer! Not governor, the race she dropped out of because she couldn't win.

How does she think she will pay her own salary after that or any other state financial liabilities? Were she to win then Moodys would change the credit score of NV from several +++ to a long list of ---....
She's endorsed by Trump, Arpio, and Harrison, who all have past financial indiscretions cast against them. Certainly appropriate for someone wanting to hold the purse strings of a state.

Umm...my limited not a lawyer with Federal tax liens against businesses is not that the employees weren't paid, but that the employer withheld the taxes when paying the employee but didn't send the funds off to the IRS.

Michelle Fiore, Nevada Republican candidate for State Treasurer, wants to “ban pharmaceutical companies” she believes are “behind” “all of the mass shootings” including the one in Uvalde.
Fiore then falsely claimed the shooter had a “damaged” mind due to “transgendering” meds.

Nevada Independent is calling the state treasurer republican primary for Fiore. She will face the Democratic incumbent in November who had no primary opponent.

It is a two-person, down-ticket race, and the winner receives the honor of losing to the incumbent in the general.

Hard to say if she will lose because there's a lot of trumpers in NV. She won her city council seat by a very small margin, something like a few hundred votes. She also failed in her run for CD3 several years ago. I can only hope that Zack Conine uses all crazy stuff she has said and done in his ads. She's not real popular in Clark County which is pretty blue and cancels out the smaller red counties. My hope is that her FBI investigation finishes soon and results in charges.
Las Vegas City Councilwoman Michele Fiore and former councilman-turned-lobbyist Ricki Barlow, who resigned from office and pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds in 2018, quietly co-founded a business together two years ago.
According to filings with the secretary of state’s office, Fiore — now the Republican nominee for state treasurer — and Barlow filed business registration paperwork in July 2020 to form “BLACK & WHITE JUSTICE FOR ALL, LLC.” Fiore and Barlow were both listed as managers of the business, with its address matching the same address listed for Barlow’s lobbying firm.
“BLACK & WHITE JUSTICE FOR ALL” did not have its business license renewed in 2021 (it’s listed as revoked on the secretary of state’s website), and Fiore did not list the entity on her annual financial disclosure statement, which is required under state law.
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada State Treasurer Zach Conine's campaign has filed an election complaint against his Republican challenger, Michele Fiore.
The campaign for Conine, a Democrat, is alleging that Fiore did not disclose starting a business with former Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow on financial disclosure statements.
"Once again, Michele Fiore has shown Nevada voters that she will break any law necessary to advance her own financial interests," Bradley Schrager, legal counsel for Conine's campaign, said in a news release.
Conine's campaign says it will file additional complaints against Fiore in the near future.

Today, GOP treasurer hopeful Michele Fiore accused her opponent, incumbent Zach Conine, of running a shady business out of the treasurer's office.
The business in question? A state-run board that Conine, as treasurer, is required to operate under NV law.
In a statement to the Reno Gazette Journal, Conine's campaign called Fiore's accusation "laughable."
"Michele Fiore is the most comprehensively unqualified major party candidate for constitutional office in Nevada history," the statement continues, "and her failure to even understand the job she is asking Nevadans to give her underscores that sad truth."
