HE SCHEDULED A RALLY IN OHIO DURING AN OHIO STATE FOOTBALL GAME.
This is a house of Ohio State fans.
My father-in-law, a man who I admired greatly for many reasons, graduated from OSU in 1938 with a degree in metallurgical engineering. He spent a lot of WWII helping the (ultimately unsuccessful) effort to invent "aluminum foam" which would have (theoretically) absorbed the shock of enemy artillery. He literally has "Go Bucks!" engraved on his headstone. He proposed to my mother-in-law at an Ohio State - Michigan game.
And he doesn't want Trump in Ohio at all. I knew him well.
Oh wow. The OSU stadium (the horseshoe) is one of the biggliest in the country and they love their football. He has some competition if he going head-to-head against that at the same time. Have fun.

The Covelli Center has a stated maximum capacity of around 7,200 (in concert layout). Interesting to see if tfg’s fans fills it.

Which book? Mein kampf?
He neither reads books nor has the patience to have them explained to him, so how he does anything 'by the book' is mystifying to me.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,
As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Fun fact: There used to be a (men's) dormitory in the infrastructure of the Ohio Stadium on the west side, suspended from the framework. I lived in it for two academic years, 1967-69. We were allowed to enter the stands for free after halftime. I also have a degree from the University of Michigan. I had to be very careful where I parked my car with Michigan plates when I came back from Ann Arbor to visit friends in Columbus.

That is the Michigan State stadium. The OSU 'shoe is bigger, double level about 102,000 seat capacity.
For the record, the video is of the "Big House" (Michigan Stadium) in Ann Arbor, which is UofM's stadium. It is, in fact, the largest college football stadium in the country with a capacity of 107,601. The Horseshoe (Ohio Stadium) in Columbus seats 104,944 which is the third largest (2nd is Beaver Stadium in College Station where Penn State plays at 106,572). Michigan State plays in Spartan Stadium, which seats 75,005, which is the 6th largest stadium in the B1G -- but far and away the best.

I call shenanigans. Ohio State fans don't call their school OSU.
OSU is Oregon State or Oklahoma State.

I went to a D3 school no one has heard of, but I really find the Ohio State crowd’s insistence on calling it “the Ohio State University” to be insufferably smug.

Well, I was at Ohio State when that started. I don't know the exact date, but I would guess it was about 1968 to 1972. And yes, I thought at the time, and still do, that it was a stupid idea.
