The Washington Post has an interesting article about the laptop. Apparently, they had security experts that were able to determine the existence of authentic emails that apparently do belong to Hunter Biden's email account.
That's very carefully not the exact same as saying "Hunter Biden’s email account was on the laptop."
On my laptop, you will find the Thunderbird email program, and 1) all my email accounts, and 2) all my emails within those accounts.
And so even if you can determine the "existence of authentic emails that apparently do belong to [the] account," WaPo is very deliberately omitting any statement that EITHER 1) Hunter Biden’s email account was on the laptop, OR 2) the emails they claim to have found were within, for example, the Inbox of an email account registered to Hunter Biden.
The statement is not gibberish, it's deliberately so vague as to render it unpossible as meaningful communication on the subject.

For that matter, if I were to send you an e-mail to help plot the overthrow of the government, you would have e-mails that belong to my e-mail account on it. If I forward something in that e-mail from Biscuit's super sekrit e-mail account you'd have that too.
No, let's use ProtonMail for that stuff. I heard ProtonMail is secure.
