And we know what is supposed to be in it, according to her order.


And we know that Trump has nothing but a heapin' helpin' of hooey, which is not what the judge appears to expect.

They did manage to get a Summons filed. No Proof of Service.

So, once upon a time in a land far, far away, I had to take a semester of Business Law at that little ole private university in the ghetto of south central El Lay. Now, for all you real lawyers out there in teevee land, Business Law was an extremely watered-down version of contracts, negotiable instruments, torts, parol evidence (whatever the eff that is) and the Statute of Frauds (I looked; I cannot find a statute titled, "Statute of Frauds," but I digress) among other things.

I approached this class like I approached other classes--objectively. I was good with numbers; numbers don't lie; 2*2 always equals 4. Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are equal. I was good with science; I could figger out redox reactions; I understood how plants grew; I knew the various categories of flora and fauna.

I sucked big-time on the mid-term in Business Law. Got sumpin' like a 48/100. There was a note, "SEE ME" in red written boldly on the first page. I sheepishly went to the instructor. She told me, you know this stuff, but you sure don't show it on the exam. I asked what was wrong. She then told me the punch line: Lawyers have to consider all possible permutations of applying the law to the facts as they advance their positions. Lawyers have to be able to argue away opposing viewpoints, no matter how strong or weak they are.

So, she made me a deal: If I get an A on the final, she will tear up the midterm grade and give me an A for the class. If I do not, then the midterm score of 48 will count towards my final grade. (The midterm was 40%). Well, I got a 98/100 on the final.

I politely declined her offer to take the LSAT. I was not and continue not to be cut out for the law. But I can still nail those redox reactions!

I guess if I can figure out what the instructor wants and do it, people with law licenses should be able to figure out what the judge wants, amirite?

This is just really weird. What son posts sexual innuendo about their own father’s penis? Is this the grooming they keep talking about?

The request for a more particular list of items seized is ... fine. Now that the feebs have had nearly three weeks to live with the seized materials, this doesn't seem like a big deal (subject to expected privacy/security concerns).

Noting that his team continues to wrongly focused on the PRA is interesting, sure, but doesn't provide much insight into how the court will view the motion in front of it.
