That first line is the worst. Are you folks kidding?

Maintain human population at 500 million?

You find it remotely acceptable fo destroy 7.5 BILLION people?

And THEN, control it through breeding?

Humans are already doing a great job of destroying their home, so there's really no need to *destroy* 7.5 billion people. Earth will become unliveable soon enough.

Too also: The guidelines were purportedly designed to be post-apocalyptic instructions. The destruction of at least 7.5 billion people was pre-baked into the concept.

We were talking about overpopulation even then.
