Good point, but Bobo grew up during the 80's and 90's in modern white middle class rural society where education opportunities abounded. She didn't need them. She had all the birthright entitlements Central Colorado could offer their daughters, and she didn't get a GED until it was required. She doesn't want the constraints of society though she's willing to apply them to others.

My brother, the one in Oregon, has a GED, and also he was Phi Beta Kappa at University of Oregon when he got his act together. Now a software engineer who can speak several languages.

I could care less if she had 50 tries on the GED or was at the top of her class at Harvard, Yale, Berkely, and Joe's Grease Removal College of Learning and Stuff.
