Actually, I have had an inspired thought about what happened.

"Nunes: But boss you have to Post on Truth if we are to be a success!
Drump: Ya ya did you see the hole in one I made...
Nunes: But most excellent and brainy one, if you post on Truth we can copy it to Twitter and everyone will love you again...
Drump: Brilliant, I'm so glad I thought of that!"

How long until Twitter blocks this fresh account, "made in the name of the former guy"?

How many copycats will pop up and claim to post in the name of someone else, like a person with initials DJT :?:

As a reminder, Elon Musk's purchase price for each Twitter share is $54.20.

Twitter stock closed at $36.85 today.

If you’re from Texas or Illinois and love to apply Instagram filters to the photos of your travels or any other event, this may be bad news for you. After being sued by Texas for violating the state’s privacy protection for personal biometric data in February, Meta, the parent organization of Facebook and Instagram, started on Wednesday (May 11) to disable the use of certain Instagram filters in Texas. The lawsuit was filed by Attorney General Ken Paxton. Meta is doing the same procedures in the state of Illinois.

In Australia, facebook, now meta, shut down Government pages on health care and other vital services over access to news content legislation.

They said it was an accident, but internal documentationshows it was policy.

Musk publicly challenged his accuser to describe his junk. Yep, you read that right.
► Show Spoiler
Also, there are a number of articles floating around quoting Twitter as saying putting a deal "on hold" isn't a thing, and that they have a committed deal with an agreed upon price and that they are holding Musk to it and he better get his financing house in order.

This whole mess may end costing Musk billions in Tesla stock, his reputation, AND a billion dollar breakup fee to get out of the Twitter deal.

I find it hard to believe that Tesla doesn't already have a legal department with all the times they have been sued.

Musk is assembling a hardcore litigation department; in addition to its easy-mode department.

I'm sure all his current lawyers are quite thrilled to find out he needs to supplement them with a hardcore litigation department!

No. Also:
Gabe Sanchez  @iamgabesanchez wrote: Elon Musk's net worth has fallen over $49B since he first offered to buy Twitter for $44B.

That is all.

I think this legal department is à la Mike Lindell.

You may be on to something. I've seen speculation that Musk shopped his plans around to real lawyer firms and was roundly turned down, thus rolling his own.
