She might want to invite some prosecutors over for a look-see. If it is basically hers, she can invite whomever she wants (though she may want to have a lawyer draft an agreement with the prosecutors that protects her).

Just in: Another defendant charged in the Oath Keepers seditious conspiracy case, Brian Ulrich, appears to have taken a deal with prosecutors and will be pleading guilty later today. He'll be the second defendant to do so since the new indictment came down in January.

Ulrich turned.
Jordan Fischer @JordanOnRecord wrote: Brian Ulrich says under oath that he conspired with Elmer Stewart Rhodes and other Oath Keepers to obstruct the lawful transfer of presidential power by force on Jan. 6, 2021.
Judge Mehta has accepted Brian Ulrich's guilty plea. Like others in the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys cases, sentencing will be deferred until after he testifies at the trials.

A bit more in Scott's thread. In his signed agreement with feds, Ulrich specifies that Stewart Rhodes was part of the conspiracy to stop the lawful transfer of power

At 4pm -- accused OathKeeper seditious conspirator Edward Vallejo of Arizona appears for court hearing, still seeking release from pretrial jail
I expect this alleged jailhouse phone call to be discussed =====>

Oath Keeper 101 must be missing an important chunk of edumacation: phone calls to and from jail birds are recorded and listened into. Use your personal lawyer to transmit conspirational content. If you can only afford a public defdnder then best don't commit no crimes

ALERT: Seditious conspiracy case grows in US Capitol attack. Justice Dept charges William Wilson, accusing him of conspiring with OathKeepers founder Stewart Rhodes. To block lawful transfer of power
Plea hearing set for 3p in this case. We’ll find out if Wilson becomes the latest OathKeeper to flip and help federal investigators

Good write up on today's revelations. Can't wait for more.

Is it too early to speculate who the person on the other end of the line was?But the most striking revelation from the filing relates to the call Rhodes made to “an individual” just after 5 p.m. on January 6, as Rhodes, Wilson, “and other co-conspirators” gathered in a suite at the Phoenix Hotel near the Capitol. According to the filing: “Wilson heard Rhodes repeatedly implore the individual to tell President Trump to call upon groups like the Oath Keepers to forcibly oppose the transfer of power. This individual denied Rhodes request to speak directly with President Trump. After the call ended, Rhodes stated to the group, ‘I just want to fight.’”
The filing does not indicate if Rhodes and the person he called had spoken before, what connection the person had to Trump, or what knowledge they had of the Oath Keepers alleged plot.

How would Rhodes get such a person's phone number, hmmm?

Meadows was my first guess too.

I too, suspect Meadows.

Is it clear if the phone used in the hotel (on speakerphone) was a hotel phone, or a personal device? I ask, 'cause isn't it easy for hotel calls to be traced to number called?

Let's not be irresponsible about guessing about Mark Meadows' call.Kendra wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 10:19 pm Good write up on today's revelations. Can't wait for more.

Tasha thinks it was Roger Stone.

Lending credence to Tasha speculation, the Oafs were providing Stone's security the night of 1/5, which is notable because the Proud Boys were always the ones all over him.

This is Roger Stone escorted by Oath Keepers going back to the Willard it was so odd because the Enrique and the Proud Boys were always his security.

I wondered how Rhodes would get Meadows' number. Stone likely gives his out like candy. But would he have access to tfg just like that? I kinda doubt it. Also, does he have a tfg tat?
