Okay. Who would know better about slapping a chicken than a young man?

I believe one chokes a chicken; slapping is for one's salami.

I am willing to be corrected, but I believe the Patridge Family was loosely based on the Cowsill family of singers. Too lazy to go find a link right now :bag:
Correct. I know Susan, and she and her husband, Russ Broussard are still actively performing.

Not entirely surprising from a company whose founder paid for Rosa Park's rent so she could live somewhere safer after being attacked in her Detroit apartment.

In the tale of two Michigan pizza chain founders, I always liked Ilitch much, much better than Monaghan (whom I rather disliked). I hope his family can keep up his ways.

At least five monkeys are on the loose in Cincinnati after being spotted swinging from the trees in a graveyard in the Ohio city’s West Side neighborhood.

Local media reported that residents called the police in alarm after spotting the escaped monkeys late on Wednesday night. Video of the creatures also circulated on social media.

Police told the local Fox 19 Now television channel that the animals may have escaped from a private exotic animal collector’s home. Meanwhile, Cincinnati Zoo spokeswoman Michelle Curley told the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper that the facility would help in any way it can.

“We are evaluating the situation to see if there’s anything we can do to assist the Cincinnati police department. Nothing could be done in the dark,” Curley said.

A week from Saturday my suburb has its final annual curbside pickup for my neighborhood. One thing I'm going to get rid of is an old computer stand. I'll have to take the old CRT monitor to the recycling center. I was curious, so I looked up what that 19" Samsung CRT monitor weighs. 56 pounds! Thank goodness my nephew is coming up next week to help me!

In contrast, my 24" Dell LCD monitor weighs 15 pounds.
