Re: Music Free-for-all
Samantha Fish (absolutely lovely and gracious woman) and Joe Bonamassa (complete and total asshole in every way possible) are about as opposite personalities as you can get. And she ALWAYS plays in sky high heels, and often in a short skirt. She played a private party for us one time and had to change clothes when she realized the stage configuration had been changed to an elevated stage. The men at the party were excited at the prospect but she thought better of it.

Love BB. Spent all the summers of my youth right around the corner from the BB King museum.
The quilting in the background is the lyrics to "The Thrill is Gone." It's the only time a fiber piece has ever won at the annual Arts Council 'Blame it on the Blues' show, and it hung at the BB King museum at their grand opening.

I freaking LOVE Tracy Chapman.

Am I correct in assuming that you’re the fantastic artist who did the quilting? Exceptional piece of work!sugar magnolia wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 9:45 am Love BB. Spent all the summers of my youth right around the corner from the BB King museum.

Holy heck, that is extraordinary!
My sister is a quilter, and does wonderful stuff. I think shes got a piece in a Museum in Wyoming.
But your BBKing is in a different league altogether.

That is really magnificent. It takes quilting to a level I have never seen before.

Re: Music Free-for-all
Thank you. I wish I had a better picture of the actual quilted lyrics, but black thread on black fabric doesn't photograph well.
I actually did 3 of these. Muddy Waters, BB King and Buddy Guy. I used lyrics from one of their signature songs on each one.
