When these antivaxxers offer these dying pleas on their death bed, do any of us think it matters? How many of his fans/listeners rushed out to get the vax after?

That they didn’t infect anybody who wasn’t an anti vaxxer
And they didn’t suck medical resources away from those who really needed it. Sadly, they almost certainly did
I think it’s time to start giving these anti-Vax morons what they’re asking for - No medical treatment beyond home and faith based therapies, or what they can pay for themselves in a hospital setting.

Chef’s parents and brother die from Covid within week after jab refusal Francis Goncalves, from Cardiff, wants his family’s experience to encourage people to get vaccinated

A man from Cardiff has claimed he lost his mother, father and brother from Covid within a week because all three had chosen not to be jabbed after they were frightened by misinformation from anti-vaxxers.
Francis Goncalves, a chef, said he believed that his father, Basil, 73, contracted Covid while in hospital and his mother, Charmagne, 65, and brother Shaul, 40, picked it up at a family dinner.
He said all three, who were living in Portugal, had turned down the chance to be vaccinated and Goncalves said he hoped sharing his experience may encourage other sceptics to be jabbed.
Multnomah county, OR has reinstated a mask mandate. The county has set up consequences for those caught not masking, from education and up to a $1,000 fine. The county is setting up an easy to use reporting system to report mask mandate violations.
Multnomah County to require masks starting Friday, governor calls for others to follow
Multnomah County on Monday became the first in Oregon to announce renewed indoor masking requirements in public spaces, including businesses, amid a month-long surge in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations driven by the highly contagious delta variant.
The requirements issued by County Chair Deborah Kafoury will take effect Friday and apply to all vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals age 5 and older. The mandate could be in place through year end, according to county officials.
The masking orders will be enforced for the first time through local action that includes education efforts and fines of up to $1,000. The rule excludes people actively eating and drinking in food establishments.
The looming requirements for Oregon’s most populous and liberal county mark the first since Gov. Kate Brown ended a statewide mask mandate June 30. Brown and state health officials have deferred to local authorities to renew safeguards. But that’s led to little to no action across the 35 of 36 counties where masking is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, even as recent cases now average nearly 1,200 a day and the state is on the verge of setting a record for COVID-19 hospitalizations.
Kafoury said additional information on enforcement, including a phone number and internet option for residents to report violations, would be made available later this week. She said it would work similarly to enforcement of tobacco regulations, beginning with education efforts for violators and escalating to fines of up to $1,000.
The mask mandate may be in place until January, according to Dr. Jennifer Vines, the county’s public health officer, though it could be lifted earlier depending on new case numbers and vaccination uptake.
Multnomah County’s 76% vaccination rate among adults puts it second to only Washington County, and its recent case rate per 10,000 residents is lower than all but a handful of counties. Nearly 71% of adults in the county are fully vaccinated and another 5% are partially vaccinated.
She said Oregon is at the sixth-highest rate of risk in the country for new infections, and she urged Oregonians to think of the masking mandate not as Multnomah County closing up, but ensuring it can remain open, including schools. In addition to masking, she said Oregonians should continue to gather outside when possible and maintain social distancing.

I just now took a peek at the Sturgis live cam. People coming from all different directions, converging into groups and chatting with each other and not a single mask in sight. I bet there will be more than one used Harley put up for sale in the next month. Likely sooner.

I thought I was sort of pushing the bounds when I mentioned that I could care less when one of the unvaccinated dies off. I love it when something snowballs.

The problem with schdenfraude of the spreadnecks is they may get the last laugh when their lack of social responsibility becomes an incubator for the next variant.

Gallups "forgets" to mention that no state and no professional organization has officially adopted the code.
