AOC was incredible. As is Jackie Speir. As are all the speaking Dems.

Gutless Republicans denying reality. So be it.
Indeed, worth a watch.

Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney were the only Republicans willing to stand up for decency. How horrible.

Gosar issued a big dumb statement. Not worth reading, but if you are so inclined:

So by Gosar's logic:

A video depicting him killing a colleague is not a call to violence.

An official reprimand by his colleagues is the same as mass murder.

Got it.

Thanks for editing out the link, I don't think we ought to have that video on Fogbow.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2 ... probation/
A New York man who pleaded guilty to rape and sexual abuse for assaulting four teenage girls during parties at his parents’ home will not face jail time after a judge Tuesday sentenced him to eight years probation.

Niagara County Court Judge Matthew J. Murphy III said he “agonized” over the case of 20-year-old Christopher Belter, who was accused of committing the crimes when he was 16 or 17. Belter pleaded guilty in 2019 to felony charges that included third-degree rape and attempted first-degree sexual abuse, as well as two misdemeanor charges of second-degree sexual abuse.

Although Belter faced a maximum sentence of eight years in prison, Murphy concluded that jail time for the man “would be inappropriate” in a ruling that shocked the courtroom.

“I’m not ashamed to say that I actually prayed over what is the appropriate sentence in this case because there was great pain. There was great harm. There were multiple crimes committed in the case,” Murphy said, according to WKBW. “It seems to me that a sentence that involves incarceration or partial incarceration isn’t appropriate, so I am going to sentence you to probation.”
Rich White boy.

He's an elected judge. My thought was a republican. One place said he was a Democrat, but other information said he ran as Republican/Democrat/Conservative, so I'm going with typical republican.

I just read the article. This same rich white boy who just got off with nothing but probation has already violated, multiple times, the initial probation and court ordered restrictions. So, we know where this is headed. He will rape and rape again. Reading the article makes it clear this guy has a serious uncontrollable obsession related to pornography and sex. And his mother and father helped groom the victims and plied them with alcohol. They also belong in prison. And won't be held accountable either. They are receiving rich white American justice.

I assume they're speaking of Sen. Kennedy (R-LA) besmirching the nominee for being born in Russia. Worth noting, Sen. Kennedy is one of the politicians that some have billed as traitors for spending July 4th in Moscow a few years back IIRC.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Republican Gov. Chris Sununu on Thursday denounced a conservative group’s offer to pay $500 to the first person who “catches” a public school teacher violating New Hampshire’s new limits on the discussion of systemic racism and other topics.

Sununu had opposed an earlier version of the legislation that echoed a Trump administration order and sought to ban discussion of “divisive concepts” in schools. But he later backed language inserted into the state budget ’that would prohibit teaching children that they are inferior, racist, sexist or oppressive by virtue of their race, gender or other characteristics.

After the state Department of Education set up a website last week to collect complaints against teachers, The New Hampshire chapter of Moms for Liberty tweeted “We’ve got $500 for the person that first successfully catches a public school teacher breaking this law.” In a follow up, the conservative parents’ organization told supporters to designate online donations as “CRT Bounty’s,” referring to critical race theory.

“The Governor condemns the tweet referencing ‘bounties’ and any sort of financial incentive is wholly inappropriate and has no place,” Sununu’s spokesperson, Ben Vihstadt, said in an email.

Laurie Snell -- the estranged wife of Pennsylvania GOP Senate candidate Sean Parnell -- was awarded primary physical custody and sole legal custody of the couple's three children, according to a judge's order that was made public Monday.

The decision comes amid a contentious divorce and custody proceedings between Snell and Parnell, who are still legally married but have been separated for years. Snell has accused her husband of choking her and injuring their children -- all claims that Parnell has denied.

The judge's ruling, following a three-day custody trial, noted that "Laurie Snell was the more credible witness."

"Ms. Snell is grateful that justice prevailed," according to a statement from the Gilliland Vanasdale Sinatra Law Office, which represented Snell. "She has been awarded sole legal and primary physical custody of their children. She will continue, as always, to focus on their best interests."
He has announced he will not be making a Senate bid next year in PA.
