On CNN they are saying this was all because he was upset about the stories of him in the bunker. Very last minute, and the SS didn't know about it until right before. They tried to stop him but he threw a tantrum.
Makes sense. The gassing the crowd was to get it over with quickly.

Oh wow they aren't even pretending it isn't a photo op. He stands in front of the church holding a bible, turning it to get different angles.

There's always a tweet. :rotflmao:

The bishop of the church twitler stood in front of was not happy to see her church used as a prop with no warning. And that cheap piece of theater was pretty awkward and pathetic.

Or... it coulda been this picture that made him choose a church.

He was dragging his leg when he was walking back. I'm guessing he is wearing some kevlar underneath. He used to during the 2016 campaign when he was exposed to the commoners.

The bunker stories AND the story about Biden going peacefully to a church and meeting with people. Count on OSG to interpret that as walking to the outside of a church he's never attended (?) because it's close by and holding up a Bible.

I wonder for what they needed those pictures? IMHO a green screen photoshop would have done it without the collateral damage to the already bad image of this impotus.

Trump must be removed. So must his congressional enablers.
Trump must be removed. So must his congressional enablers.

By George F. Will

June 1, 2020 at 3:18 p.m. EDT

This unraveling presidency began with the Crybaby-in-Chief banging his spoon on his highchair tray to protest a photograph — a photograph — showing that his inauguration crowd the day before had been smaller than the one four years previous. Since then, this weak person’s idea of a strong person, this chest-pounding advertisement of his own gnawing insecurities, this low-rent Lear raging on his Twitter-heath has proven that the phrase malignant buffoon is not an oxymoron.

Presidents, exploiting modern communications technologies and abetted today by journalists preening as the “resistance” — like members of the French Resistance 1940-1944, minus the bravery — can set the tone of American society, which is regrettably soft wax on which presidents leave their marks. The president’s provocations — his coarsening of public discourse that lowers the threshold for acting out by people as mentally crippled as he — do not excuse the violent few. They must be punished. He must be removed.

Social causation is difficult to demonstrate, particularly between one person’s words and other persons’ deeds. However: The person voters hired in 2016 to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” stood on July 28, 2017, in front of uniformed police and urged them “please don’t be too nice” when handling suspected offenders. His hope was fulfilled for 8 minutes and 46 seconds on Minneapolis pavement.

What Daniel Patrick Moynihan termed “defining deviancy down” now defines American politics. In 2016, voters were presented an unprecedentedly unpalatable choice: Never had both major parties offered nominees with higher disapproval than approval numbers. Voters chose what they wagered would be the lesser blight. Now, however, they have watched him govern for 40 months and more than 40 percent — slightly less than the percentage that voted for him — approve of his sordid conduct.

The Republican Party is dumping Steve King in favor of another coattail politician with the same agenda as Trump. Why can't the Republican Party dump Trump in favor of another candidate with a bit more grey matter? Trump, Mitch, others - throw them all out. Apparently they don't teach World History like they use to.

Oh how I wish we had a political system system similar to that of the UK, Germany and others. Trump would have been gone two years ago. Unfortunately, we'd need a third political party and no party having a majority for that to happen.

If you want to see how a multi party system works Israel is a prime example. It is ugly.

That's just a stupid photo! Who in the hell thought that whole thing last night was anything approaching a good idea?

I always thought the Bush 2 administration was absolutely tone deaf. This administration makes them look like amateurs.

Yeah. Multi-party systems behave just like two party systems, only with the coalitions handled at a more dramatic level and less stable level.
