It is too bad that the storm is coming now at one of the busiest tourist times for the east end of LI.

This weekend is a bust except for battery and bottled water sales. Power outages could shutdown things during the coming week.

Our hurricane wimped out, but we're under a flash flood watch for Sunday & Monday. Possible high winds as well. Don't care. Usually, I'd be worried about my road washing out (again) and/or downed trees, then I remembered it doesn't matter. I love working from home! :dance:

The storm track now has trended further east. :biggrin:

Landfall now expected to be near the Connecticut/Rhode Island border. Sorry about that New England.

The NF still will have hours of TS force winds but will avoid the worst of it.

For those worried about New England, on the current track Henri will weaken as it passes over cooler water north of the Gulf Stream and so may be below hurricane strength before landfall.
