I love the Crusoe and Daphne videos. They are really cute. This young couple does a good job of editing these videos, and they are a refreshing change from the more serious social media scene.

We have had a major event

I don't work in December, its one of my rules, I finish up for the year the week of or better yet the week before Thanksgiving and go back in January. Its what I consider my greatest perk but this is 2020 so I am working a day here, a week there etc...

And tonight, because 2020 I was working and a neighbor called to say my garage door was open and the door to the garage was ajar so he closed them

And he asked where the dogs were.

So from the time I got that text, until I finally got him on the phone and he went back and checked, I'm sure you can all imagine how many Nitro pills I let dissolve on the tongue tonight.

But everyone is fine.

And I'm gonna hug the puppies extra tonight.

That's a big sigh of relief I heard!

One here, too. George, our sophisticated red tabby DSH, is NEVER allowed out at night (we'd like to keep him indoors all the time, but his day job is 'barn helper') because we have coyotes, bobcats, and possibly a mountain lion, all living across the road.

My husband didn't close the front door behind him properly and George spotted his opportunity, clawed the door open, and disappeared into the dark. My husband spent several long minutes trying to find him, to no avail.

I stood at the front door and shook a packet of catnip into the void, and George came running. He's now basking in front of the wood stove.
