That glacier picture is great.

Awesome is a great word for those!

They are all great, but the one that interested me the most is the second from the last, the nine kings. I wish they had named them all.
Standing, from left to right: King Haakon VII of Norway, Tsar Ferdinand of the Bulgarians, King Manuel II of Portugal and the Algarve, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany and Prussia, King George I of the Hellenes and King Albert I of the Belgians.

Seated, from left to right: King Alfonso XIII of Spain, King George V of the United Kingdom and King Frederick VIII of Denmark.

From t'internet. You're welcome.

Wow, that was fast! THANK YOU!

American aviation pioneer Ruth Law Oliver next to an airplane while dressed in the government aviation uniform. She flew over the Western Front during World War I and was the only woman permitted to wear the uniform for non-military purposes in France circa 1915.

Okay, I'll bite.

For what "non-military purposes" was she "permitted to wear the uniform."

I can think of a couple, but I'm not sure even France in 1915 openly promoted that sort of thing.
Thanks pal.

If you like the wave shot on the last page, a buddy of mine shoots a lot of those. There's a remote chance it could be one of his.

He uses regular cameras in waterproof housings and a boogie board.

What a powerful photo. It's really just stunning.

We used to talk about going to Vancouver Island to storm watch in the winter, but we never got there.

HOW AWESOME: Legendary rock band Foreigner recorded a version of this classic song with the children of Shriners, and all proceeds from the downloads go to Shriners Hospitals for Children. The video was released this week! http://bit.ly/2CPmRJq

Fabulous aurora. I have a couple Icelandic sites of my FB since we've been there and plan to go back. They started early this year and have been pretty awesome most of this winter. I see gorgeous photos nearly every day.

Not masked, painted, to represent a lion.

(One of the cases where I am challenged not to kill the editor of an image tag line. Seems too me all to often that they don't follow what the photographer gave them or read the article where the image is placed, ignorant of the theme they need to document)

We are. My theory is a Star Trek-like one — we ascend to a higher existence once we realize we — human, plants, animals, all life — are in life together and need to cooperate, not compete and fight.

Have the flat earthers seen this one?

Thanks. I thought it looked like paint. Incorrect captions make me crazy.
