Woke up to some snow this morning, but it's been raining for the last 2 hours now so we have a nice, thick layer of ice on everything. My damn Japanese Magnolia is FULL of buds which will be black in 3 days from being frozen. That happens almost every year and makes me sad.

We're under a blizzard warning for tonight and tomorrow. Yesterday was a great (I refuse to say beautiful) day. When the weather crashes here, it crashes hard.

Yeah, it was in the lower 40s when I ran errands yesterday. I like the fact that winter, for the most part, hasn't been horrible terrible so far. We won't get the winds in The Cities that western Minnesota and western Iowa will, but we're supposed to get 6+" of snow. I'm glad my snowblower is running because with temperatures in the lower 30s, this is going to be an awful heavy snow to shovel.

Stay safe, Zeke!

A Red Flag Warning goes into effect tomorrow morning for several counties across Texoma. Strong winds and low relative humidity will result in the potential for dangerous grass fires during the day on Friday.
