Had my second Moderna jab on Tuesday. Denmark has recently largely moved to a walk-in vaccination model, so I could have had it a few days earlier, but I had to wait for my second appointment with the vaccine efficacy study people, before I could recieve it.

Slightly sore upper arm where I got the jab, but no other noticeable side effects.

Dr. Vicklund got her Pfizer booster yesterday, so far fewer side effects than shots 1 and 2.

Yay. Congrats. My 1st Pfizer was no reaction. 2nd one I got at like noon and felt fine the rest of the day. Next day it kicked me in the ass - felt like shit. Was OK the next day and thereafter. I wonder why it affects folks differently. Anyway - welcome to the vaxxed club.

The first time, a few hours later my arm really hurt, and I put it in a sling. Also double vision happened on my way home. That was awful. Plus 3-4 days of weakness. Not so bad for the 2nd one. 2 days pretty much knocked out physically, arm in sling. Can't wait to see what happens after the 3rd shot!

My Pfizer experience was...

1st shot: No sickness, really sore arm for a few days, like I had trouble lifting it above my head etc.

2nd shot: No sore arm, but got really sick, like a bad flu the day after the shot. That lasted maybe a day and a half and then I was good.

3rd shot: No sore arm, got a little sick the next day, but nothing bad and it quickly went away.

YMMV.

I’m curious about my third in a couple weeks. I had nada reaction to the first two, not even a sore arm.

I thought boosters were sort of on a stand-by status right now. Maybe that's just Moderna, which is what I had. Today is the day I was originally supposed to have the booster.

I’m getting one because I’m immunocompromised. Apparently that’s allowed and the doc told me to get it ASAP.

That makes sense. I knew they didn't cancel that part of it. I'm okay with waiting for myself.

First shot was sore arm because I did not hold it well.

Second shot was better on the arm (I sometime do learn), but I ended up feeling oogie later that day.

The poll at the top of the page is out of date. It needs additional questions about the booster, now that some of us have already managed to get one.

However, that would probably wipe out the current replies (every option set to zero and no votes recorded), and as of now 110 people have voted in the poll.

So, umm ... yeah. It's a :pickle: If I update the poll, we start from scratch. :confuzzled:

I can't decide this without input from the Boogle. What say ye, Boogle?

Why? IMO this is a great thread, and the story has not ended.

Though I suspect our 6 friends who have one shot and are waiting for a second need to update their status!

Maybe we can get Mike Lindell's crack web team to implement a second poll within a thread.

A new thread dedicated to booster shots. Covering questions such as mix and match (2 Mod +1 Pfizer?). eligibility, process, and such might be useful. And a poll if necessary.

My vote is to "archive" the current results with a screenshot, then reset/create a new poll. I think a new thread would be more complex and confusing.
