Unfortunately, some people were given the wah-wah pedal circuit, and others the fuzz circuit ... at 11 with the knob broken off. For a very few, they got several chords of Every Breath You Take by the Police. It plays in a loop in their head.

My son had his yesterday and said he didn't feel the needle either. It is still a little sore, but he didn't feel it yesterday when he got the jab.

I got my first pfizer today after 5 previous attempts because A) I was lucky and B) my partner wrote a very sad note about being a twice survivor of cancer, which is true, but I hate playing the cancer card. I live in Costa Rica and the country is hoping to get to 15% of the population vacinated by July 1. Oh, and I am over 65.

That's what it was like when I got the J&J six weeks ago -- no swelling, no tenderness, no nothing at the injection site. Less, even, than the usual flu shot. Made me wonder if I somehow got the placebo instead, but I doubt it.

My 2nd shot was like that. Felt a slight touch on my arm.

However, several hours later, my arm hurt - stabbing pain if I moved my arm at all. Then exhaustion and weakness. It was intense, then vanished within 48 hours.

Pfizer jab 2 now scheduled for Monday morning.

My 2nd shot was like that. Felt a slight touch on my arm.

However, several hours later, my arm hurt - stabbing pain if I moved my arm at all. Then exhaustion and weakness. It was intense, then vanished within 48 hours.

That's a bit where I'm at. Since I felt no prick, I thought maybe it was done wrong -- but now if I touch the injection site or raise my arm up it's sore. I talked to others (friends/neighbors) and most them them had similar -- no or little feeling of the injection at the time it was administered. Maybe what they are using to sterilize the injection site also includes something that numbs so we don't feel it?

I self-inject every couple of weeks, and don’t feel much unless I hit a blood vessel. It hurt more before the maker removed the preservative, which made it sting like a wasp. Or worse.

I didn't even feel the needle going into my arm on the 1st jab. I think the nice National Guard lady that is an EMT in her real job was skilled at doing the injection thingy. I hope I get that nice lady tomorrow for my 2nd jab.

Could they be swabbing the injection site with alcohol and lidocaine or benzocaine (what used to be popular OTC for teething infants/toddlers)? That will numb the nerves.
