It's the NY Post so there's that, but there is some interesting information here. It says that Epstein
hung himself 's body was found hung (not assigning blame, just generalizing) from the frame of the top bunk and was found on his knees. Considering the hyoid bone (which can be broken other than being strangled to death, although strangulation is the most common cause) I can see rolling off the top bunk doing significant damage.*
It also says, according to Epstein's lawyers, he was almost delusional in his belief that he was going to beat the charges, and still had a chance of house arrest on appeal. They say he was upbeat and looking forward to Sundays meeting. Again, it's the Post, and the remarks came from Epstein's lawyers who may have a reason to keep the CT going.

Working with various ERs across the country, I saw my share of hyoid bone injuries and they weren't all attempted murders. A car accident, a freak fall, a fight, being struck in the throat with a heavy object, can do the job. That said a "broken" hyoid is usually fatal as it results in asphyxiation.
