Yes, the readily available legal remedies Trump's thug friends can persue are just not good enough for any of them.

Was in the car. Heard about McCabe's investigation being dropped. Then immediately heard about Flynn's (& other Mueller cases) being reviewed and I was like, W.T.F??? Did Barr really think the shiny McCabe pony was going to distract us?

Am I wrong here, or do these actions also intimidate other prosecutors from pursuing protected /favored gestapo right wing asshats?

Is it me, or is there no stupid or self destructive thing this man has not done to end his life and career in total ignominy?

It’s a hail mary play. IAC is the only ticket out if his plea deal, and he has to waive the privilege In order to raise it. Like Filly says, it’ll be interesting to see what they say in response.

I'm guessing that Flynn's former lawyers, as the kids say, have the receipts.

Yeah, I imagine so.

As an aside, asking another lawyer to explain himself or herself on behalf of a recalcitrant former client absolutely sucks. I’ve had to do it a couple of times, and it’s the worst. There were almost always receipts, as I knew there likely would be (only once was there a legitimate issue - gov’t on appeal asked me why the client didn’t take a post-trial deal - defense at trial never passed the offer on to the client).

From what I've heard, former attorneys were good, and expensive, so counts as a dumb move in my opinion. Guess we'll see. Maybe he just wants to really torch his legacy.

I suspect Covington Burling has the goods on Flynn which will not only prove his guilt but demonstrate that a defense would have been hopeless.

What I hope Covington Burling brings up are all the entreaties from the Trump Administration assuring him he wouldn't serve any time. Hint hint: a pardon if necessary.

So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has “lost” the records of General Michael Flynn. How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!
