Didn't see this detail, who's picking up the liability with Bezos?

James is the son of the founder of Hudson News, they sold out 10 years ago so he's not actively with Hudson News. He featured his house in a home online mag he owns, and seems to be a Republican, tho he's donated to both sides.

For $100M they have to believe there's a lot of valuable content. Will it be through publishing or more "catch and release"? If they're keeping Dylan on seems like we still may not be seeing the good stuff. Yet. WaPo: "Dylan Howard, the chief content officer of AMI, will remain at the company, those people said."
Is he the last one that knows the safe combination to the deep secrets :?:

There's also the issue that the talents, skills or luck involved in drivining a new business to viability it are not the same as those of managing a large, mature business with a large workforce, shareholders, regulation, etc. Sometimes an element of success is being too stupid to realize that the business or its product is apparently a dud or a goner, and pushing on regardless, and then something makes it a goer.
