What a lovely sentiment--do you know what the song is?

I don't at the moment. Maybe I will when I get to see it in person.

Anyone musically inclined here that might be able to play these notes?

I just played around with the piece, but am having a tough time figuring out the time signature. The guitar blocks the area that would indicate the time signature.Patagoniagirl wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:41 am Anyone musically inclined here that might be able to play these notes?
A piano player might have an easier time figuring out the time signature. I'm a cellist.

It's 2/4, in G major, I assume. The only fully readable part is a few measures. I will see if I can rip it off quickly (my brain is a bit rough right now).LM K wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 7:10 pmI just played around with the piece, but am having a tough time figuring out the time signature. I am not originally a piano player by trade (I am a choir director who came to the organ later in life). However, it sounds and feels like Clementi, though it is not in his Opus 36 Sonatinas. So, it is something of that era, Mozart, Hayden, CPE Bach, Beethoven (probably not him but maybe), etc.

Because this is a link to a Soundcloud account with my real name, I have put it under hidden, just for some sense of avoiding poots and birthers.Patagoniagirl wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:41 am Anyone musically inclined here that might be able to play these notes?
It's a quick toss together of the measures that were actually fully visible (and an assumption at how the run on the first visible line ended).

I don't think it has any connection to my sister-I think her hubby just liked it was music and She played piano (we all do-mostly church music) and he plays guitar.
I really wish there had been a female on it- or not had the guy walking. But it wasn't up to me
