I am fond of the organ, of course, and also fond of Louise Vierne's Symphony No. 1 (especially the last movement). So, here we go.

The second song is in memory of a dead teenager on the side of a crappy road.
His name was Felipe Da Silva Cardoso... and I failed.

So, the young man dies, And then the parent complains.
I paid $4k to defend myself years ago because dad and his wife blamed me and would not own it. I was his fathers best American friend.
And now his son was dead at 19..
But I was the problem?
They are gone now ... back in Brazil.

OMy, that's awesome. Old, but very cool.
(btw, I had to open it with Chrome because Firefox said it couldn't load the Facebook SDK-- accused me of using an adblocker -- I don't use Adblock on TFB)
Adding the YouTube version, which appears to work without issue.
Re: Music Free-for-all
Huh. I previewed the FB linky and it worked fine at home, but now on a different PC and can't play it. Thanks for the YT link. I loved his music.neonzx wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 10:08 amOMy, that's awesome. Old, but very cool.

Been a fan of Joe for years, since that little band he was in called The James Gang. Oh, that version of Funk #49 and the Bolero guitar solo. Trivia (I think), the first time I purchased their vinyl album James Gang Rides Again, I am SURE Funk #49 did not have the solo, then was blown away when I replaced the well worn vinyl and heard that. I'm too lazy to see if there's a live version of this.
Way back in the day when he was solo I did get to see him in concert when he opened for Stevie Nicks.
Re: Music Free-for-all
This one kicks my butt, always. This performance was after Bill Berry left (after an aneurysm). The drummer Bill Berry left -- but he would only leave if the band would not break up -- which was a pact they made when they were college kids. Yeah, they broke that pact to honor Bill. This is an old song.

A bit nicer, from the game Subnautica, plays when your submarine is on fire and about to implode. TIME TO DANCE!!!

Re: Music Free-for-all
If you just want to hear him play Bolero on the guitar, skip to 3:50 or so.
Re: Music Free-for-all
This was one of my older cousin's fav songs. He gave me a handgun on my 21st birthday (he was a gun nut and licensed dealer). He died horribly at 52 when cancer ravaged his body. I remember that we and us family going to visit the hospital. He was a good dude. I got rid of the gun a year later.
It's okay.
