He has said he is leaving Facebook before and he never follows through so I have some doubts (not unpossible though).

If I had to guess, he probably got shouty with the wrong cop (IME, he loves getting shouty, especially with women), and this was an easy charge.

I'm not sure why he is even down there unless noticed the article talking about Facebook expanding their data center in Huntsville and decided to go down and protest something, somewhere. The one outside of Columbus, OH would have been closer but he probably never realized one was there. Prior planning is not his strong suit.

Iowa isn't going to extradite him, Iowa barely transports on even county-to-county warrant business anymore, unless the charges are felonies. Chris just has a failure to appear on a NCO violation hearing. I'd be shocked if Boone/Story/whichever county pays to have him brought back.

Awesome detective work, by the way...

Poor Sporky. A little research might have shown him that welfare benefits in Alabama make Kentucky seem downright generous by comparison. So if he were moving to tap into all that sweet, sweet government cash, it's probably not the best move.

I have never been to Huntsville, but I'm told by people who have that is relatively prosperous because of all the aerospace companies there, so they probably won't be too tolerant of people like Sporky harshing the municipal mellow by threatening people who don't hand him cash.

Would they keep The Spork in jail all 4th of July weekend for loitering? It would be pretty insulting for The Spork to be jailed on Independence Day. While Foggy and family are Square and/or Pole Dancing at Denny's in Huntsville.

Mrs. Spork self-identifies as "Kitchen Clerk at Hy-Vee" so they must have a big 4th of July feast planned. As Scir points out, Mrs. Spork says Huntsville, but The Spork's page still says Frankfort. What kind of funny business is this?

Or was this The Spork's carefully well thought out plan to collect the DHS reward for turning himself in as a domestic terrorist? Perhaps there are many cases of Loitering/Terrorism on the books in Alabama.

Though Gregg will never confirm or deny it, it seems obvious Lt. Root Beer and the 699th were breathing down The Spork's neck and ready to close in and The Spork needed to flee. Or did the 699th liberate Bunny Dog and pal first? Waiting for declassification on these matters is frustrating.

Just checked - Sporky still in jail. Tried to look up his case but as far as I can tell have to spend $ to look at AL court cases and I won't do that. I left a step out when I described how I found the Spork. I went to Vinelink Alabama and saw someone I was >99% sure was the Spork but that is not good enough and Vinelink didn't have a mug shot. Went to the jail site where Vinelink said he was incarcerated and his ugly mug popped up. Knew it was really Sporky then. Not sure I agree with jailing someone for panhandling but whatever - it is Sporky so it amuses me even if I don't agree with the general policy.

The Spork just missed out on the new version effective July 26, 2021, he's still under the 2019 version. To be fair, The Spork could have been doing other things besides begging, like gambling or hanging out in a schoolyard or using/possessing a dangerous drug. Or... maybe he was masked

I've read a number of books where they say, "He smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes," or some variation thereof. That's what I thought when I saw that booking photo (and excellent work, Scirreeve). He's trying hard to put on a brave face, but he obviously knows how much of a loser he is. It's hard to imagine being Mrs. Sporky, and never really knowing when or where your husband will be in jail from day to day. Yowza.
