Boebert can be beat, I believe. Mostly because she's a turd who isn't representing her constituents interests though, not as a repudiation of Trumpism. In MJT's district, I just don't see how she could be beat.
Her constituents are just like her, so it would be a long shot for her to be primaried, as for the general, a Dem has the same chance as a snowball in hell...

Alright, so this is low-key humorous, until she breaks out the Kamala cut-out (1min mark) and starts berating it, then it turns hilarious! Love love love that hot stereo soundtrack!

You know what else is just about up Boebert? Your fifteen minutes! Your constituents are in an epic drought and you're flying off on I don't know whose dime (sure it isn't yours!) to try and make trouble in another state? Bet that will go over good.

Seriously, keep it up. I'm ready for you to lose your seat. :rotflmao:

Lauren Boebert Suggests 'Clinton Crime Syndicate' Behind Death of TV Anchor Christopher Sign
BY CHRISTINA ZHAO ON 6/13/21 AT 4:33 PM EDT

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado has suggested that the "Clinton Crime Family" was responsible for the death of local news anchor Christopher Sign.

Sign, an Alabama TV anchor and ex-University of Alabama footage player, was found dead at age 45 in his Scout Trace home on Saturday morning, according to the Hoover Police Department. Lt. Keith Czeskleba confirmed that his passing is currently being investigated as a suicide.

Boebert appeared to blame the "Clinton Crime Syndicate" in a tweet.

"Why is it that so many who cross the Clinton Crime Syndicate end up dead?" she wrote, alongside a clip of Sign promoting his book Secret on the Tarmac in a 2019 Fox News interview.
:snippity:
Boebert has previously expressed support for elements of the QAnon conspiracy theory, but denies being a believer.

In March, she promoted a false theory claiming that Republican will take control of Congress following a mass wave of resignations and arrests among Democrats.

Asked at an event with constituents whether Hillary Clinton will be arrested, Boebert said, "this is my opinion with that information that I have, I believe we will see resignations begin to take place and I think we can take back the majority in the House and the Senate before 2022 when all of this is ended," according to the Delta County Independent.

Newsweek reached out to the Clinton Foundation for comment. This story will be updated with any response.

It's possible that wasn't the _real_ tragedy, Boebert.

Its not that they can't pronounce the VP's name correctly. Its that they WON'T pronounce it correctly. Its a not very subtle sing of disrespect and contempt.

It's an intentional microaggression. It's because they are small minded twits who feel the need to belittle others.

I have trouble pronouncing it correctly, too. I try to make it Ka-MA-la, and have to stop myself and remember it's more like Pamela with a K.

Maybe some of them fall into that category, which would make it an unintentional microaggression. But I believe most of them do it on purpose because they are jerks. If they are going to talk about her though, they should learn to pronounce her name correctly. Or call her Madame Vice President. Or Vice President Harris.

Here's a helper vid for anyone struggling:

It's "comma" "la".

I tend to do the same. I have to remember it's similar to somebody I grew up with whose name is Kamalish (KA-ma-lish). I may be falling into a more romanized (i.e. Latin, Italian, etc) way of pronouncing it, possibly from my vocal music training.

Either way, I may pronounce it different yet since I am from up north and unlike southerners, we don't have accents. It's even more so since I was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and we really did not have accents like those people from acrosst the country.

Comma la works for me, except when I think it's Hawaiian (for garden) - kah-MAH-la.

Huh. In a way it is a strikingly symbolic picture.. it shows what her voters actually focus on, and what is just an afterthought.

Good take neeneko!

Here's another one. He's 6'5", she claims 5'3", but she looks even shorter to me.

Not that it matters.
