I don’t understand why this is considered such bombshell news, at least so far as Gaetz is concerned. We already were aware that Gaetz crossed state lines with an underaged girl, or at least there was a strong supposition that he had done so. Re the pardon, it’s not a good look for Stone (what is?) and Greenberg is a knave and a fool, but where is the new info/evidence that’s going to bring down Gaetz? Is Greenberg even a valuable/usable witness for a Gaetz prosecution?

As always, I would appreciate one of our fine Fogbow attorneys weighing in and explaining what I’m missing.

Supposition of violating the Mann Act (crossing state lines with a minor for sex) is not evidence. Now, if the docs are validated, you have Greenbert, a co-conspirator, putting down on paper a description of the conspiracy and an admission of guilt by Greenberg. This is evidence. Additionally, if the former occupants of the White House, etc. claim that there were never any conversations with Stone about such a pardon, you might have a criminal case for fraud against Stone -- Stone attempting to fraudulently induce Greenberg to give Stone 250K. This also makes it more likely that Greenberg is going to flip on everyone, all the republicans for whom he acted as a pimp.

Yeah, the stuff released shows that the girl who was underage lied about how old she was. Which is totally shocking, because everyone knows that teenage girls never lie, they're pure and innocent until their 18th birthday.

And as soon as Greenberg and Gaetz learned her real age, they scolded her and had nothing more to do with her until she 18.

Confession time (you may recall I confessed to this on the old forum): My first true love, a wonderful, intelligent, amazing woman who I will never forget, was 17 when we started having sex. We stayed together for 3.5 years, and I didn't pay her a nickel for the sex, but I did take her across state lines, because we lived in suburban Maryland and everybody went to the big mall in Tysons Corner, Virginia and to various places in our nation's capital.

And even worser than Matt Gaetz, I knew for sure that she was only 17, because we discussed it at length - we had to take various precautions to make sure her parents never found out about the sex.

For some odd reason, I don't feel guilty in the least about that. To the contrary, I'm still damned proud that I was somehow able to convince such an awesome lady to fall in love with me. She became an RN and then a PA.

A confession letter written by Joel Greenberg in the final months of the Trump presidency claims that he and close associate Rep. Matt Gaetz paid for sex with multiple women—as well as a girl who was 17 at the time.

“On more than one occasion, this individual was involved in sexual activities with several of the other girls, the congressman from Florida’s 1st Congressional District and myself,” Greenberg wrote in reference to the 17-year-old.

“From time to time, gas money or gifts, rent or partial tuition payments were made to several of these girls, including the individual who was not yet 18. I did see the acts occur firsthand and Venmo transactions, Cash App or other payments were made to these girls on behalf of the Congressman.”

The letter, which The Daily Beast recently obtained, was written after Greenberg—who was under federal indictment—asked Roger Stone to help him secure a pardon from then-President Donald Trump.

A series of private messages starting in late 2020—also recently obtained by The Daily Beast—shows a number of exchanges between Greenberg and Stone conducted over the encrypted messaging app Signal, with communications set to disappear. However, Greenberg appears to have taken screenshots of a number of their conversations.

“If I get you $250k in Bitcoin would that help or is this not a financial matter,” Greenberg wrote to Stone, one message shows.

Apparently, the model was on SeekingArrangement.com, her screen name is alluded to with a year of birth as part of the name. Have seen it but won't use it. That site is wild, it's a sugar daddy (and a growing sugar momma) site. The whole site is designed around giving money to hot young models, for rent, school or whatever else. If these guys were using SA.com, and sending money on Venmo, chances are they weren't ordering girl scout cookies from them.
