The guys in the red shirts were always the first ones to get killed. I think that they had an average lifespan of about 30 seconds of screen time.

Chinese Government Lays Off Entire Propaganda Team As American Media Doing Their Job For Them
May 4th, 2020

BEIJING—The Chinese government has laid off its entire propaganda arm, cutting thousands of jobs at China Central Television and other state-run media outlets as the American media is already doing their job for them.

"It seemed kinda redundant for us to have a state-run media when we have the American press," said President Xi at a press conference Monday. "The American media is carrying water for us. It's pretty incredible. We unleashed a virus on the world and lied about it for months, and the American press can't stop praising us. As long as they make their orange leader look bad, they'll repeat any line we feed them."

"Really, we Commies could learn a lot from the propaganda of the press over in America," he added admiringly.

The Communist dictator sat the nervous, state-owned journalists down and asked them, "What would you say you do there?" to which they responded, "We take the propaganda and tell it to the people." But President Xi wasn't fooled, saying that the American press already does that and the redundancy would be eliminated.

Luckily for the state-owned journalists and broadcasters who lost their jobs in China today, CNN was hiring.

It's black humour. I got a chuckle out of it.

Mind you BabylonBee is well known for fake stories that are shared around the right wing as real. Snopes is blue in the face debunking stories straight from the site.

Yeah, it's black humor. It's supposed to be warped and a bit uncomfortable.
I laughed also, too. :bag:

OK then. My bad. Didn't get the punchline. Fake news and whatnot. What do you call it? Oh yeah, sarcastic.

As an aside, I’ve seen a lot of my friends embracing the natural color of their hair, and I, for one, find it beautiful.

My brother and sister have gorgeous silver. Mine’s mousy brownish-gray. But I’m OK with it.

Mine is strange. My real color appears to be some sort of colorless gray with silver strands. But the front side opposite the part is a faded red. I didn’t bother having it dyed when I got my last cut March 14 as we were quarantining starting that night. So no dye since mid-January. Maybe I’ll grow it out and choose a new color. Silver?

But I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to go much longer without hacking it up with scissors. It’s long and even more Einsteiny than usual.

There is something terribly wrong with OSG beyone narcisissm. How does he not know that starting his comment with a nod to people who have suffered terrible loss does not excuse his "2021 will be one of the best years evah!" statement. I mean, he just does not seem capable of understanding normal human emotion. And he only gave that nod because someone told him he had to.
