Oh. maybe this explains why F&F hosts were 😢 that peeps should read about it and make up their own minds (that's what the weekend crew was saying Saturday).

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/exclusive-f ... ssion=true
Mediaite has learned that Fox News was first approached by Rudy Giuliani to report on a tranche of files alleged to have come from Hunter Biden’s unclaimed laptop left at a Delaware computer repair shop, but that the news division chose not to run the story unless or until the sourcing and veracity of the emails could be properly vetted.
Yet, Bartiromo fell for it and went further with Ron Johnson and dropped those hints about child porn. That was despicable :madguy:

One of them is a guy who constantly posts links from known satire websites that he thinks is real like "obamachaser" or whatever it's called.
One (probably former) friend posted fake crap (in the comments) on my FB page and when I responded with reliable links to back up my original post, her response was laughing face emojis. When I asked for her sources, I got more laughing face emojis and a comment that we'll have to "agree to disagree." In what I think shocked her, my response was a firm, "NO. Unless you can provide me with a reliable source for your allegations, I will not agree to disagree with you." It went downhill from there.
Yup I've experienced that way too many times the agree to disagree nonsense. I point out that isn't one of these situations since you can't provide any source to back it up. Their response is that I can't provide anything showing that it's not true. To which I say you can't provide any source proving that it is true.

I honestly don’t get it. We the peeps aren’t that stupid...are we?

Has any reporter made the connection between the impeachment - “So, you’d like your money, eh? Sure, but there’s something I’d like you to do for me. It’s about corrupt JoeBiden. Yeah, you talk to Rudy, he’ll act for me.” - and thishere thing Rudy has given to us?

Did I miss it? I confess, I’ve stayed away, it’s too ineffably sad, and infuriating because...The Spawn... they’re all so soul-blackeningly dishonest...I just can’t anymore.

So. Apparently there is going to be another shit-show this Thursday, which Biden will be forced to attend because the debate commission and the networks will destroy him if he doesn't.

At this shit-show, a despicable liar and purveyor of death and destruction, will accuse Biden's son of a string of horrors. Mic or no mic. A string of horrors that the major media outlets are rightly refusing to amplify.

We know he will do this if he can. My guess is that neither the Dem or Rep parites, or the debate commission, or, heaven forfend, Faux News, will be prepared to stop him.

Who is culpable?

That ploy simply won't work anymore. Who is going to be swayed by someone AGAIN attacking a man's son? Only cultists will be spreading the lies, and the rest of us will simply be repulsed.

Biden can calmly give his talking points and let Trump ramble and whinge and bully during Trump's time. Biden needs simply to focus on getting his message out.

That's assuming there's a debate at all. Trump is already complaining about having a microphone cut-off.

someone stepped into :shit:
Intelligence Experts Suspicious of DNI Ratcliffe On Laptop Story
The chief of the U.S. intelligence community appeared to pre-judge the conclusions of an active FBI investigation.

Patrick Tucker

If the FBI is still working to determine whether a dubious New York Post story was the fruit of a Russian disinformation campaign, then why did the nation’s top intelligence leader denounce the notion on TV this morning?

That’s what some veteran intelligence professionals are asking after Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told Fox Business that the Post story and a laptop that purportedly belonged to Joe Biden’s son are “not part of some Russian disinformation campaign” and “The intelligence community doesn't believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that.”

“If the issue is being investigated as part of Russian interference into the election, it's hard to believe it would be wrapped up yet,” said Matthew Miller, who led the Justice Department's public affairs office from 2009 to 2011. “The whole thing is utterly confusing, which is why Ratcliffe shouldn't be weighing in at all. If there is an investigation, it should be conducted quietly and the government should speak with a credible voice when they have something definitive to tell the public. Obviously, Ratcliffe isn't a credible voice, and it seems pretty clear he's just playing the political role he was appointed for in the first place.”

The DNI “violated several cardinal rules” Monday morning, said Ned Price, a former CIA intelligence analyst who served as a National Security Council spokesperson and as a Special Assistant to President Barack Obama. “Among them, he inserted himself in the middle of a partisan issue, he at the very least lent the appearance that he was boosting the President's campaign, and he appears to have gotten ahead of intelligence analysis and law enforcement investigations.”

Price noted that even if Ratcliffe’s account is true and the intelligence community has not yet found evidence directly linking the reported laptop contents to a hostile foreign actor, that didn’t mean that such evidence didn’t exist. “That's to say nothing of a reportedly ongoing law enforcement investigation into the matter, which no federal official should ever prejudge or prejudice, as Ratcliffe appeared to do,” he said.

Elizabeth Neumann, who served as a Department of Homeland Security official during the George W. Bush and Trump administrations, said that it would be highly unusual for such an investigation to conclude so quickly and that there were just too many unknowns to be able to make an informed comment on the origins or the veracity of the laptop story.

“I don’t trust Ratcliffe’s statement,” Neumann said. “The circumstances smell very suspicious. We have the U.S. government intelligence folks and the Homeland Threat Assessment acknowledging that Russia’s intent is to weaken our country that we cannot oppose them when they carry out their longer-term agenda (like invading sovereign countries, human rights abuses, arms sales to terrorists and dangerous countries and bullying in the Middle East). If this was them, it aligns with what we think their objective is: create division and discord, chaos etc. and help Trump.”

It’s possible that Ratcliffe may not have known much about the investigation, which was reportedly briefed to Congress last week. A former Department of Homeland Security official said that the counterintelligence investigations are very closely held and it was “possible he hasn’t been read in.”

Not a new issue:
Late in Biden’s 1996 reelection campaign, a consultant working for his Republican opponent pushed a troubling story: The senator had sold his home to an executive from the credit card company MBNA for double its appraised value. MBNA called the story “viciously false,” and Biden pushed back hard enough that his opponent fired the consultant. True, he had sold his house to an MBNA executive—but at its appraised value. Not long after that, though, the company hired Biden’s youngest son, Hunter, and the criticism stuck: Biden became, to his detractors, “the senator from MBNA.” (Hunter’s corporate affiliations have once again become an issue for Biden. His son’s role on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while Biden oversaw the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy has fueled corruption accusations and conspiracy-mongering by Republican critics; Donald Trump’s effort to force Ukraine to investigate the Bidens is now at the center of the impeachment inquiry.)
And money flowed to both sides:
Most of the money flowed to Republicans—MBNA employees were George W. Bush’s largest contributor during his 2000 presidential campaign—but Biden was an exception. He brought in more than $200,000 from MBNA employees over the course of his career. And he developed a relationship with the company’s CEO, Charles Cawley. When Biden held a Wilmington fundraiser for his 1996 campaign, Cawley was there. When Cawley received an award for his charitable giving, Biden and Bush appeared onstage with him. A couple years later, Cawley co-chaired an award ceremony for Biden. On the company’s dime, Biden and his wife, Jill, flew to Maine, where the senator spoke at MBNA’S 1997 corporate retreat.
I found this episode in my memory and found this article an interesting read (regardless of which side you may reside).
Perhaps this story(and others) have been debunked. Perhaps more facts will emerge. We will watch as it plays out.

Follow the money.

Trying to flood the zone with bulls*it. But this is way too late. If they really had this since Dec 2019, they really fuc*ed up holding this long, nobody's got the bandwidth to process it. Posobiec et al are saying an "FBI source" said it isn't Russian disinformation... but nobody's speaking on the record. Carry on, clowns.
Giuliani gives alleged Hunter Biden laptop to New Castle County police
Karl Baker
Delaware News Journal

Rudy Giuliani’s efforts to tarnish Joe Biden’s presidential campaign continued in Delaware when he visited a New Castle County police station Monday to share files from what he said was Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“They’ve got a hard drive, or a laptop, or something to that effect. They try to turn it over to New Castle County PD. New Castle County PD calls us,” said Mat Marshall, a spokesman for Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings.

Jennings’ office subsequently gave the device to the FBI because the federal agency reportedly had opened an investigation into the veracity of claims about the origin of the laptop and how its alleged contents were shared with Giuliani’s team, Marshall said.

"As we’ve seen in multiple reports (the FBI) is looking into whether these claims are credible," he said, "In light of their investigation, we’re referring it over to them now.”

A spokeswoman for the FBI’s Baltimore office, which oversees Delaware, declined to confirm or deny the existence of any such investigation.

Last Wednesday, Wilmington computer repairman John Paul Mac Isaac claimed that in April 2019 a man who identified himself as Hunter Biden brought a liquid-damaged MacBook Pro to his small repair shop in a Trolley Square shopping center.

Mac Isaac said his poor vision prevented him from personally identifying the man as Hunter Biden.

In the subsequent year and a half, Mac Isaac said, a “whole lot of” players were involved in the story of how President Donald Trump's circle took possession last month of a copy of the hard drive.

He declined to specific details.

The original story was that the FBI had "seized" the computer and hard drive in December. Remember?

How could Giuliani still have it to give to the police?

Photos of a Delaware federal subpoena given to The Post show that both the computer and hard drive were seized by the FBI in December, after the shop’s owner says he alerted the feds to their existence.

Interesting to see the serial number of the Mac computer. Technically it ought to be easy to track the first owner, he would be listed for guarantee and services claims.

FBI indicates it IS investigating POSSIBILITY of foreign interference on Hunter Biden laptop: “nothing to add” to Ratcliffe’s claim that it’s NOT Russian disinfo, adding if actionable intel develops, FBI *may* inform Homeland Security Cmte

Image

Democratic official with knowledge of intelligence committee discussions tells me:

The FBI will not confirm exactly what they are investigating – adding that this may relate to the ongoing investigation around Rudy Giuliani that has been recently reported...

...However, members of the intelligence committee have learned that the FBI is indeed investigating the provenance of the emails and whether it is part of a foreign disinformation operation – which the FBI would investigate whether or not the emails are real...

..The FBI’s handling of John Paul Mac Isaac indicates he is a target of the investigation, rather than a witness. Mac Isaac stated that he met with the FBI once or twice, then the FBI stopped talking to him...

...There is bipartisan skepticism surrounding Ratcliffe’s statement on Sunday, and this democratic source says they believe Ratcliffe was trying to state that the FBI has not confirmed that this is disinformation, as Adam Schiff suggested...

...However, Ratcliffe went too far in trying to provide political cover in support of the President, which is an inappropriate action for a DNI.

Ratcliffe is showing inexperience with intelligence by saying that the lack of intel proves there is no involvement...

...Folks within the FBI who are looking into this matter very much suspect, but do not know for sure, if foreign powers are at play...

...This source adds, members of both parties within the senate intelligence committee are skeptical of the idea that we would know definitively, at this time, the matter is not part of a foreign intel op - because has all the hallmarks of a potential foreign intel op...

... Regarding the FBI’s statement that they have “nothing to add” to Ratcliffe’s statement: They understand this to mean FBI has nothing to add about *available actionable intelligence* at this time, but the investigation is ongoing – not understand it as affirming Ratcliffe.

Finally - per my talks with sources tonight - Big bipartisan takeaway verified by Republican & Dem sides: as of now, investigators have revealed no evidence showing that this is a Russian disinfo campaign – but the investigation is ongoing, and it has not been ruled out. END.
