Re: Assault on the Capitol (DC)

South county has had our first insurrectionist arrested. Meet Gilroy's Mariposa Castro. Estiveoshot_20210304_185427.jpg Mariposa owns a local yoga studio & tea lounge has something of a reputation as gadfly/loon. Friends of friends who know her say that she's never met a right wing conspiracy th...

Re: Drunk Capt. Karl and the imaginary AMFF

The FBI has better things to do than deal with an impotent drunk who never does anything worse than drive drunk & skip bail, and who plays to an audience of the voices in his head, a handful of equally impotent goofballs, and us.

Re: I Quit

I tells you my quitting story: like many smokers, I had quit several times before, but one day, not long after my 38th birthday, I realized that I'd been smoking for 20 years. I was shocked and resolved to quit. I had about half a pack left, so rather than go buy more, I went & bought the patch....

Re: Dogs!

This is Matu. He was adopted by my friends, Tim & Jamie, through an international doggie adoption group. Matu was a street dog in Moscow, possibly an escaped bait dog. His ears were mangled by either an inept attempt at cropping or from fighting. One of his most favoritest things these days is s...

Her misstep was wearing the scarf that clashes with the leopard print. One or the other, but not both.
Well, at least it distracts from the ridiculous earrings. 🐱 meow

Re: What's This Song?

Not sure through the talking, but it sounds like part of the 3rd movement of Dvořák's New World Symphony No. 9.

ETA: it shows up in the score of lots of westerns.

Re: Bundy Clan 411

You're the one playing up the link to Ted Bundy, emphasizing it as a big deal, when said link is tenuous in the extreme. Ted is, at best, a 7th or 8th cousin 4 or 5 times removed, BY ADOPTION. He barely belongs on Cliven's family tree, and doesn't belong at all on a genealogical chart. They don't sh...
