Re: Assault on the Capitol (DC)

It must be Obama's fault that Kenya deported him. See what happens when we allow a Kenya-born Obama Acorn to become President? Now the left is persecuting true patriots who try to run off to Kenya.

Re: Planes and Boats and Trains. Wrecks!

Sunday Morning my wife was on her way to work. She was running a few minutes late. Good thing because there was a horrific car crash right at the entrance to the mall her office/center is located in. If she was on time, it would have happened right when she usually gets there. Three fatalities. 😥 S...

Re: #Q #QAnon QCumbers Q-Tip "The Storm” "Any Day Now

they can't close congress everytime a specific date is mentioned or the q-berts will gain power I think there is only one other day for them to potentially keep an eye on and that is April 19th. While the April 20th is Hitler's birthday (and Colombine), the 19th was the day of the Oklahoma City bom...

Re: Gig Economy (Etsy AirBNB Doordash eBay Grubhub) incl COVID Relief Bill Tax Provisions

$600 is pretty low for resale places like ebay, bonanza, poshmark, etc. Oh, and craigslist. Especially since Covid, yard sales, moving sales, etc. are mostly on line. And, of course, sold at a loss. Most of my Alz Asso fundraiser was on craigslist & ebay. (Also, clothes that don't fit, handbags...

I found it! The CBS story said that Rachel Naomi Kudo was a professional piano player. After thinking about it, I figured that she might have some YouTube videos and, if that piece in the background was a piece from her repertoire, it would probably also be a YouTube video of hers. And it is! https...

Re: Gig Economy (Etsy AirBNB Doordash eBay Grubhub) incl COVID Relief Bill Tax Provisions

I am in the gig economy but in a really tiny fashion. I do report though I may have missed a wedding or funeral here or there (don't tell the IRS). Obviously, those amounts are tiny. I will have nothing to report from 2020 as I had no weddings or funerals, as one might imagine. I do have a wedding c...

What, few Bach scholars here? Played Sheep May Safely Graze many on time, in orchestras and on organ. I have just a bit of knowledge of Bach, especially organ music. It's one of those things we have to know in college and any organist. Rules for basic voice leading? Bach. Guidelines taught how to w...

I've heard gun nuts claim that state gun registration laws are a national security threat. "When the commies invade, they only need to check the records in 50 state capitols to find and confiscate all the guns", or some such nonsense. In reply, it was pointed out that the commies just nee...

Loony Tunes helped my classical enjoyment, but my education came from my father [a marching band alum] who had a literal closet full of 4 track reel to reel tapes of classical music. Every Sunday as a kid the house stereo belonged to him, and symphonies would be played, he had a lot of opera, but m...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6jDcWAWRRHo Oh, that violin part from the Overture to Tannhauser. That brings back memories from playing in the junior symphony, and not entirely positive ones. I was sort of hoping they would take tomorrow off. Not only does this reduce the threat to the representatives and staff, and deny the militia folks a target, it also reduces the RWNJ congresscritters the opportunity to grandstand about security protocols.
