Re: Assault on the Capitol (DC)
Just my arrogant opinion but I doubt we'll find out Officer Sicknick's cause of death until the trial. To release that now would just set off a bunch of conspiracy theories the jurors will have to work through. I don't know anything about bear spray but if he was sprayed point blank and his mouth wa...

It's perfect! Do you take orders? I'm sorry to say I don't. I don't have any wholesale contacts so they're kind of expensive and I'm unhappy with her jacket (there's a bunch of stuff going on behind her out of sight of the camera) But if you have any sewing/crafting skills, I'd be happy to paint a ...

Over in the Arts and Crafts thread, I posted I was making a Kamala Harris rag doll (I have several celebrity rag dolls I've made over the past few years, including RBG and Albert Einstein). I always include a prop but didn't know what would be appropriate in this case. Sugar suggested a shard of bro...

Re: have you received your vaccine yet?
Florida has lowered the age requirement to 60 so I just signed up at the state site. Then I went to CVS & Walgreen sites which still say 65. Publix says check the state link for eligibility so I think I'll wait a bit on that one. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a call from the county. Then I only h...

I'd love to see DST go away, and, curiously, our ridiculous sr senator proposed making DST the standard instead of...you know....standard time. I hate the idea of all these kids standing around bus stops in total darkness thanks to DST, I'm so far south, it won't be light until close to 8 a.m.

Re: Come On Down! Game Shows Classic and New
Actually, I just remembered I was a big fan of Password when Betty White was on. Decades later, they used footage of her (with an altered name tag) for an episode of Hot in Cleveland, which was a pretty good (not game) show in its own right, but it would have been better if they hadn't been so focus...

Can some newsperson play that recording to Officer Eugene Goodman on the air?
Or Officer Dunn, the man who was called the n-word repeatedly that day.

The one-day delivery thing, is that possible because Amazon has warehouses all over God's green earth? I mean, sure, it's great but I don't really need one or two day delivery. A week will usually suffice. And some things do take a week, even though I'm a Prime member. I wondered if items were comin...

The only game show I ever enjoyed was Hollywood Squares and that was a million years ago when it featured Paul Lynde, Wally Cox and Charlie Weaver.

I'm sure businesses are really going to love that. They'll have to extend amount due by dates by four weeks, if not more. As it is, I've had several priority flat eps take 2-3 weeks to get from Florida to the Midwest. If it's important, I use priority for the tracking number. I order them in packets...

Is there another side to the coin, as in, "I want to be tried in an area where the jury pool will mostly consist of people who hate Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence so I'll be sure NOT to be convicted?" cuz that seems like it could be a problem for victims.

If there is already an A&C thread, please merge. I make small rag dolls. I posted a few photos on the last thread, Notorious RBG, Svengoolie, Bill Nye, Jerry Garcia. I'm currently working on Kamala Harris. I like to add a prop to each. Sven had his rubber chicken, RBG had a law book, Adam Savag...

About 10 am yesterday, I drove to our local post office to use their drop-off box to mail a large flat envelope. When I tried to push it through the "neck?" slot, it wouldn't go so I pulled it back out and a pile of letters fell out with it. Then I could clearly see the box was packed all ...

I will restore all the smilies, but it will take a few days. It's a lot of work. When I was a kid, we had to draw our own smilies, with a Big Chief tablet and a #2 pencil. Then, instead of hitting send, we had to pass them from desk to desk, trying not to get caught by the teacher! Uphill, both way...
