Re: Non-Famous People who died from COVID-19

Thank you, Filly. Yes, his death is as meaningful as anyone else's. I'd prefer to learn about people like this more than Hollywood celebrities. :bighug:

Let's all help each other get through this nightmare.

It's set for video = ON for both the host and participants. I don't know if you have to have video, but I doubt it. For audio, I set it for phone OR computer. If this works well -- and I see no reason why it shouldn't at this point -- it's something we can do again and again. BYOB. This is me, of co...

We can accommodate up to 100 people, and I think they removed the time limit from free accounts.

I set it for 1.5 hours in length. If we think that's too short, I can make it longer next time.

I'm surprised that Rondoodoo isn't focusing on the role of the lizard people in all this. :shh:

Re: Let's Have a Virtual Meetup!

Today my shoulder is still hurting, even to sit in a chair. Let's try Tuesday, about 8 pm Eastern. 'Course, if that means some people can't join in, we can have another one soon after. And Sugar M is right, you don't really need me. I think anyone can set up a Zoom meetup. Also, don't forget we have...

If that was the case, I would expect there to be some mention of it in the Bible. I think the pyramids predated the Egyptian captivity and the Exodus. I could be wrong.

So if I follow that path I still have 21 years of riding my bike ahead of me.

I'll take it.

Re: What are you doing to stay sane on your Staycation?

SLQ and Lani, you are awesome. Scirreeve, I know what you mean about "I like that lady even though we are locked up together." It's quite pleasant being in the cocoon with ol' Wifehorn and the boys. It would be very, very difficult if'n we didn't really like each other. But we do, so I'm having a go...

Re: Let's Have a Virtual Meetup!

In preparation for making a personal appearance of my actual face, today I crashed my bike a little and scraped my forehead. Ol' Wifehorn says I'm gonna have a shiner. Even worser, I banged my shoulder pretty good, which hurts a lot now and will be a serious problem on Monday. How am I going to punc...

Gavin just never bothered to read the law on the matter. Hay, he's making the difficult transition from human rights lawyer to epidemiologist with nothing but a home-school education. You think that's easy? Well it's not easy. You have to watch several YouTubes and do some hard thinking. And any th...

Yeah well, the first switch on this machine lasted 17 years. By the time this one breaks I'll be in my mid-80s. Who knows, maybe I'll be slowing down a little by then.

Re: On a Personal Level--Coronavirus COVID-19 Cancellations, etc.

Went to Sherwin-Williams paint store yesterday for a gallon. There was a guy outside, they're not letting customers in the store. Gave him the code for the color I wanted, he went inside and mixed it up. He came back outside and told me the price. Then he went back inside and I called him on my cell...
