Penzeys: The Pope’s Lent-time letter proclaiming that in God’s eyes gay love is a sin will cost the lives of many young, decent, and just how God/Nature/the Universe made them LGBTQ+ members of the Catholic Church. In this case it’s absolutely the respect that kills. Anybody else saying God wants ga...

I went out on the line, with the permission of the line supervisor, ...

On the one hand, it is something of an article of faith amongst criminal defense litigators that our clients testifying on their own behalf is almost always a terrible idea. On the other hand, the nature of Chauvin's defense (e.g., that his actio...

Actually, 'home' videotape recorders came out in 1964-1965: https://www.rewindmuseum.com/reeltoreelvideo.htm

We had a Sony reel-to-reel VTR in middle school in 1971, IIRC it looked similar to some of those Sony units but was more industrial (because middle-schoolers)

Might be problems there, to my IANAL mind. Because.. There are lots of people who are electors, who might not at the moment be waiting to vote, or whose need for hydration is not related to voting. So.. Should an EMT give water to a dehydrated person, who happens to be eligible to vote? Or let them ...
