Now wouldn't it be ironic if a very friendly touchy-feely "let me have a picture with you" attendee would be infected with COVID-19?

I moved all my stocks into bonds on August 7, 2019. The Dow closed at 26,007 on that date. I'm opened to suggestions on what to do with my small pile.... If you have 10 years or more until retirement, just leave your stocks alone. The biggest problem for investors is that they see the stock market ...

Everyone tends to watch the Dow. If you really must watch daily and/or really often, watch the S&P instead. More overall indicative.
Not a lot of difference today -

Dow: -3.33%

S&P 500: -3.25%

Nasdaq: -3.82%

I got everyone in my department at work to start calling Thursday “Friday Eve,” so there’s that...

Continuing the off-topic - My sweetie loved his wristwatches. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with all of them since he passed away. There are at least 19, his favorites being the Citizen Eco-Drives (powered by light) and Seikos. I doubt he paid more $300 for a watch. Any suggestions on what...

There is one advantage to living in Minnesota. Even though it was closer in 2016 than I would have wanted, Minnesota is essentially a Democratic state and, with the electoral college, no Trump supporting relative of mine living in Minnesota has their vote count for him.

DejaMoo's experience reminds me of something I realized shortly after my sweetie passed away. Shortly after my sweetie passed away, I carried a heavy, unwieldy office chair up from the basement.
