Re: Prominent People with Coronavirus COVID-19

J K Rowling says she was sick for 2 weeks with COVI19. She was not tested, but she was treated at home by her MD husband. He told her to watch this video about how to protect her lungs, and she says it helped a lot with her recovery. FWIW: https://twitter.com/jk_rowling/status/1247121896082157568 Di...

In general, shipping times are getting longer. Amazon claims it's being swamped with orders. Our local post office says it's like Christmas shipping on steroids. For my last shipment, I had to look closely at each item to see if there would be delayed shipment. Some items wouldn't ship until late Ma...

A happy ending? Mass annihilation of life? That story terrorized me when I learned it in Sunday School. That guy had a very serious anger management problem. Some good news about my son. He got "the call" from his employer. Happily, he has another month of full pay. In a month the next round will occur, with many people reduced to half pay. But at least he has another month. He and his apartment mate are looking into part time jobs - unfortunately, Walma...

All of the above.

All of the feelings. Sometimes all at once.

Be kind to yourself. It's a difficult transition, but in time we remember the things that make us smile.

Ya know what else is being hoarded? Zinc. I had no idea until I buy it it. Amazon is backlogged. Other than a handful of very low dose zinc and multi-mineral combos, it's unavailable until late April or longer. Even the ones that might be available later in April will not reach the buyers until mid ...

Humane societies are searching for people to foster critters during the lock downs. You can telecontact to meet critters who need a foster family. My dog is so sad to not having a playmate, but I'm limited to one dog. :(
