Re: Hijack This Thread

MsDaisy, you are one of the most wonderful, generous, amazing people I know. I love you dearly, and I know your dad would want you to have that ring.

But now this is just sick. Roosters can't get no respect!

Re: Report Problems/Questions Here

For anyone still having problems with the display of Active Topics, I spent some time looking at the thread on the phpBB support forums about it. The good news: It's not just you, all kinds of people are having the problem. The bad news: There are SIX PAGES of posts about it , and I'm not sure they'...

The only words I banned on Fogbow (reminder to self, I haven't done this for the Born Again Fogbow) are the two words that refer to women by their lady bits, the four-letter "c" word and the four-letter "tw" word. I just think those are too demeaning for the ladies here whom I re...

Re: Assault on the Capitol (DC)

"The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol Attack will likely be one of the largest in American history." And rightly so. I think the Democrats should do with January 6th what the Republicans did with Benghazi. IIRC, there were nine separate Congressional investigations, and one of...

Re: #46 President Joseph "Joe" Robinette Biden Jr. & Vice President Kamala Devi Harris

I'm just going to have to live with the fact that I opposed Biden as the nominee, and was disappointed he won the primaries. I was wrong, y'all are right. He's perfect for this time in our country's history and I'm enjoying every day that he's President of this great nation. Sometimes being very, ve...

Georgetown Law professor terminated after ‘reprehensible’ comments about Black students When I was in law school, we didn't have a lot of black people in my class but they were all super smart. One guy was a medical doctor already before he started (not a dentist, and in one of the top 20 law schoo...

ATTENTION : This site is populated exclusively by grownups, and my kids knew all the bad words by the time they were 5 years old (but they also knew when they could say them and when they couldn't, because that's what I taught them instead of saying "Never use those words" because I'm not...

Re: Coronavirus Relief

The bill changes all kinds of things in Obamacare rules - all for the better, but it's a confusing time for health insurance agents until we get some guidance. The Marketplace is still staffed with morons hired over the past four years, so if you have any questions you can call them and get the wron...

Re: have you received your vaccine yet?

So 40 hours after my second stick, my arm is 90% recovered and ready to go back to work - work in this case being chores and physical workouts, today I'm going to power wash the sleds out front among other things. And I'm terribly proud of how my fambly and I got through the past year. Living in a p...

So it's OK to steal the taxpayers' money but not accept it if given freely? :daydreaming:

For me the one good thing about covid, if I had to pick, is that it has strengthened our marriage. This. If ol' Wifehorn and I didn't really like each other, it could have been a nightmare. She is the most bullheaded woman on the planet, and we're perfectly matched. But we've only had one real disa...

PRO TIP : It turns out that pulling a muscle in your arm during a physical workout just an hour or so before someone sticks a needle into the center of that exact same muscle is not a wise or fortuitous choice. Ol' Wifehorn is fine but my arm hurts like heck. I'll be AFK until mañana. :violin: :cry...

'Course, he's known for spending a lot of his time in quiet contemplation and deep introspection. :rotflmao:

And the troof is, he'd never be able to sit in that position. His legs don't work like that anymore.
