I’m a folkie from way back. This, from 2008, is new to me, and made me smile. It’ll be my go-to listen all next week.

Now it's on my list, too. I loved it.

:snippity: However, by his own statements he was much more cognizant of what was happening. He used dog treats to make people uncomfortable enough (because their dog went to a total stranger) to leash their dog. Apparently, it happened often enough that he was prepared for that event. So, that isn'...

Re: What are you watching on TV these days?

Y'all made me watch. ONE episode, and I barely made it through that one. It's inane and illogical and the dialogue comes across as particularly forced. Even the facial expressions feel like someone off camera is saying "make that face now while looking out the window." I have no idea who the male l...

Re: What are you watching on TV these days?

I’ve watched two episodes of Run on HBO. About a woman who gets a text from an old lover that just says, Run.” And she does. They meet up on an Amtrak train. You figure out why about halfway through the first episode. as the episodes progress, bits of their pasts are revealed. Episodes are short. I...

Effective commercial. Yes, these guys produce very effective ads. They did one on Parscale and now Parscale has been effectively demoted in the Trump Campaign, and soon he will be disappeared. Of course Trump was already blaming Parscale for his bad polling, but their effective ad showed Parscale w...

I watched the Netflix documentary of Michelle Obma's Becoming this morning. I had myself a good, long cry. :crying:
I watched this on Monday. I loved it. I plan to watch it over and again. I need the reminder of the kind of president and first family we used to have.

Much as I would love if a SAFE and EFFECTIVE vaccine were developed, I cannot trust anything this maladministration has had a hand in to be either. One of my proudest moments was when Allen West was booted out of office after one term. I personally recruited hundreds of volunteers and we knocked on doors for months in an effort to see him defeated. He was one of the Tea Party whack jobs that was targeted for removal.

Businesses should start posting No Shirt No Shoes No Mask No Service signs. Remind people that nobody has a shit fit over No Shirt No Shoes No Service but somehow wearing a mask is taking aware your freedom. Make the anti mask people look and feel as stupid as they are.

I have trouble watching the Trump/Bartiromo interview for extremely shallow reasons. His mouth is thin-lipped and tiny, most of the time in a tight “O”. Her lips are thick and plump and her mouth is way too wide for her face. It’s like he’s going to suck her in like a strand of spaghetti and she’s ...

Re: Oversight Committees: Hearing Thurs May 14th; Dr. Rick Bright Re Political Purge / Coronavirus Fed Response

Dr Fauci is in a completely different role. He advises. Dr Bright was in a procurement role. Totally different. And that is why Fauci has not YET been removed from his position. Because he is not involved in procurement, he can't stand in the way of inappropriate procurement. Rep Long is an idiot.
