Hmm.. I have always considered fish, crustaceans, and molluscs (clams, oysters, squid, and the 8-tentacle creature I will not mention to avoid grammar gods on plurals) as seafood, even if they happen to come from a big or small lake. I suppose algae would be covered here as well.

I would much rather keep my humanity than my looks. While being kind and caring takes effort, it is usually easier than keeping the spare tire away.

That's like the benefits of being a musician. On the girls, I've seen them flock. We organists get all the fame, money, and girls. That is why they stick us up in the loft or in some corner at the front so this won't happen at church. https://youtu.be/dOcYTOBA0CI?si=10YFmsNlttc4oVrZ It's true. real...

I brought up a non-stimulant ADD medication a few months back as the shortage was getting bad. It was one I had taken many years back and was not my ideal but would have been less impacted. My doctor suggested I check Mariano's or Costco. I have been using Mariano's since as they have had what I nee...

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD IT"S PACHELHELL She's very good and even better in her improv when you could not tell what piece it was based on. I might have to do that. It's that wedding song that will cause this organist to scream out during the bridesmaids' procession: "Run as if your life depend...

In my scouting days, it was a simple rule: 1. Flag raising lowering 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. National Anthem 4. Taps at a funeral (or at a flag retirement ceremony) 5. Other appropriate times (which usually don't include hymns). In uniform (including "class b" when at morning flags), sal...

I am not some big shot CEO, I do not have an MBA, I have not degree in economics, though I have stayed in a Holiday Inn. It seems to me that if you had a company that made widget 1, and you wanted to branch out into widget 2 and 3, it would help to be good at widget 1 so you can reinvest the capital...

I chatted with Bill in an airport a few years ago. By "chatted" I mean I (a random person to him) said a couple of words about the Blazers to him and then listened to Bill's stream of consciousness talking style for 10 minutes or so. RIP Bill The closest I got is that I met and sat a few ...

Who's the moron with his hand on his chest? I sing a lot of hymn in church, including Amazing Grace, and we never do that. We're Methodists, so we never even put our hands above our shoulders. Episcopalians will put their hands above their shoulders to make the sign of the cross and when singing th...

I remember little about Sugar, my grandfather's horse. I do, however, remember the tractor well. It had a very even temperament with a calm personality. I rode both, but Sugar was gone before I could remember much about him/her. When I was last out by our family's former land a couple of years ago, ...

As we are up on the green area of the convective outlook, I was not really paying attention until my phone goes off about a tornado warning (I was still looking at blue skies) and a severe thunderstorm warning. THey mentioned it might decrease by the time it got here (the warning was for 45 minutes)...

From the Former Fogbow discussion of the Rhodes case and Holder's visit to a coffee shop: Reality Check » Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:48 am Common sense would also tell you that they actually have telephones in Georgia now and Holder could have just picked up the phone and called Judge Land. That would have ...
