Re: Happy New Year 2022

Happy New Year for those of you've made it this far. We've just had the clock on Copenhagen City Hall, jumped off a chair (ie. jumped into the new year), and sung along to both of our national anthems. Right now the locals are going absolutely berserk with the fireworks (someone from a party in one ...

IANAL, but as a public person, I'd imagine he'd be facing a steep challenge even before the Tucker Carlson defense (ie. no reasonable person would take anything Carlson says seriously) comes into play.

Re: What are you watching?

Just started on "Inside no. 9", a British dark comedy anthology series. They like to play around with the format to say the least, so far I've seen one with no spoken dialogue and one showing four CCTV screens, with all the action taking place within their field of view. And I've been told...

At some level, I'm kind of surprised "One country, two systems" managed to last this long, but on the other hand it is still a dark day for Democracy. Hong Kong is now firmly under the thumb of Beijing :(

We're having municipal and regional elections today, and since the rules for getting on the ballot are a bit more relaxed, they really do get filled out. To wit, here's the ballot for the municipal election in Copenhagen with 27(!) different parties represented: https://www.kk.dk/sites/default/files...

Of course, as a Lutheran with a decent score, I'd throw John 3:16 at him and scurry away
