Last night, on MSNBC, Stephanie Ruhle was making the argument that TFG will get most of those 21.5 million shares for nothing and that, therefore, even at the rock-bottom prices the stock is selling for, it is "found money" as she put it. It cost him nothing and will generate millions if not billions of dollars for his pocket.

I didn't quite follow her argument, but she was emphatic that this is a very good thing for him.

I think the bottom line is that he has done essentially nothing to "earn" this stock. Regardless of its value, he's put in little effort. If you find a bill on the sidewalk and pocket it, you now have more money than you did before, regardless of whether it was a Washington, Hamilton, or Benjamin.

Yes, he has "constrained" his social-media posts to only his failsite, but there's a legion of people dutifully reporting and republishing them, so his words still get widely spread.

Hope everyone buys more shares. DJT is printing more shares and we need everyone to buy as many as possible.. this will be easy money. I already put a mortgage on my house and will be buying at least $200k of shares.. expecting to be at least $1M by the end of the year.. but realistically will be $1.5M no doubt.

Trump’s Truth Social to launch live TV service, but ‘DJT’ stock keeps falling

On Tuesday, the Trump Media said it has completed the research and development phase for the launching of its content-delivery network (CDN).

The company didn’t give a time for the launch of the CDN, but said it will be rolled out in three phases.

Nothing like a little "fomenting the market" when your pump-and-dump isn't working all that well.

Even if you assume the relatively small audiences that Truth Social can draw, the costs of building and running a CDN are significant, especially for a company that is generating only about $4 million in revenue per year.

The reason Truth Social doesn't generate much money is that nobody wants to advertise on the platform. It's too small, there's no good data on demographics, and quality advertisers with reputations they care about will avoid it like a basket full of ebola-coated kiddie porn. So adding a CDN for livestreams won't likely generate any additional advertising dollars.

Another possibility is that they want to try to generate revenue by having content sources pay to get promoted on the platform. In the rest of the world, streamers pay content creators, so I'm not sure the creators of any quality content would be interested. Perhaps the only people who would pay to make their content available on Truth Social would be second-tier televangelists or movies made by the studio former Senator Rick Santorum heads, all starring Kirk Cameron.

Unfortunately, this stock is already such a turd that the SEC won't bother to keep an eye on whether any of this happens. It's not like Tesla, which has hyped products like the Cybertruck and the semi truck to goose their stock price, but which will result in orders of magnitude greater investor losses than this penny-ante shit show.

May 17-25 put options are going for 6.35 right now. Could spend a few bucks on some of those. If it drops to 20 you could probably clear an 80% to 100% profit by the end of the week. Making money on Trump losing money has a certain attraction too.

I tried to buy some 20 strike May 17 puts today at 4 but they were going up and my bid didn't get filled. The May 17, 25 strike puts I suggested were up 24% today. This puppy is going down.
