It's ONLY the fox news videos that do it. Not youtube or twitter or anything else, and I've turned off autoplay in every setting I can I can find, so I suspect fox has found some way to override the computer autoplay settings.
Off Topic
I typically use Chrome, but depending on the device and what desk I'm at I will use IE instead. The Fox videos do not autoplay for me on Chrome, but they did on this thread when I had IE open instead, really weird to hear it playing even when I was on the next page in the thread. Didn't autoplay on the phone or the Fire tablet. Still, it's good to know and we can all be aware that it's a problem.

McDonalds AND Wendy’s AND Burger King? Sounds like burger overkill.
Or... maybe he is hedging in hopes one of the three chains will step-up and offer free food tonight in exchange for POTUS twitter endorsements?

(and what of the 'pizza he mentioned'? He didn't name any chains. Dominos AND PizzaHut AND Papa Johns AND Little Ceasars ?)

Oh, this is interesting.

THREAD: Has anyone noticed the very disturbing overlap between Trump’s insistence on preventing his own staff from learning about discussions with Putin at the Hamburg G20 meeting in July 2017 and how he handled initial revelations about the infamous Trump Tower meeting? 1/
Put another way, shortly after the New York Times reached out to the White House to ask about a secret meeting with the Russians, Trump himself sought a secret meeting with the Russians. 18/

Reading that thread appears to confirm what I have believed for a long time. Trump gets his talking points directly from Vladimir Putin. How interesting that the day before he concocts a false story about the Trump Tower meeting being all about adopting Russian babies, he just happened to have a conversation about adoption with Putin. Well, I bet he did have a conversation about adoption - Putin literally suggested to him what to say about the Trump Tower meeting.

Putin must laugh his ass off regularly about how he has scored with Trump.

Probably shutdown related, also, iirc Trump would have to pay for entertaining the teams, and white house food would be expensive

Did you see the episode Maddow did recently on at least three only known by the Russian government talking points that Trump seemed to have picked up on? She really unpacks it (as usual) and puts it together that makes sense and will scare the :shit: out of you. How does he get that obscure Russian narrative that Montenegro is hostile and all kinds of trouble? And then at the NATO meeting which country's president does he shove out of the way?

I still believe it's possible that the Trump Tower meeting didn't produce quite as much as Russia was planning, due to Trump not being able to keep his mouth shut. Bragging that he's going to disclose information about Clinton "next week" or whatever, probably made the Russians decide to be careful about how much to coordinate directly with these people.

trump is apparently in NOLA today and has apparently said something stupid about being in Nashville. My fb feed is full of comments from my NOLA friends talking about flipping off his motorcade but I have no idea what he said to make them think he thought he was in Nashville.

Probably.
NOLA has lots of conventions, but the Farm Convention is probably not one of them.

Trump is speaking today at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th convention which is being held in New Orleans.

That makes a lot more sense. A bunch of right-wing nuts partying on Bourbon st with all the other drunks. I was envisioning an actual farm convention, with John Deeres and combines.

TRUMP says he plans to serve the Clemson national championship football team "McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King with some pizza" when they visit the White House tonight.

Great time to be a farmer... tariffs reducing demand for your crops, government shutdown making it difficult to get payments and loans, and Trump’s attacks on undocumented aliens reducing the number of laborers you can hire at poverty rates to help in your dairy farms.

He’s going to tell the Farm Bureau it’s the Democrat’s fault for not negotiating with China.

I liked the part where he told them to sit down so the press could report that they gave him standing ovations. And basically instructed them to give him standing ovations.

Yeah, but he is protecting them from gays and muslims and tells them it is ok to say racist and sexist things, and THAT is what matters.
