CNN is beating to death a story about IRS "whistleblowers" that Hunter Biden got a super sweetheart deal, the IRS wanted to pursue 11 charges, some felonies, etc, etc. OK, they are not the prosecutor. The prosecutor made the decision. He has publicly stated that he had full control over what to charge and also where to charge. He could have filed charges in multiple locations. The prosecutors in those locations also have said they were aware that he had been given permission to charge what and wherever he thought was appropriate.

I guess they didn't have anything else to bludgeon Biden with in the last few days so they are going to beat this dead horse back to life.

Strangely enough, this CBS segment leaves out the fact that former IRS employee Shapley is refusing to talk to the Senate Finance Committee, which actually oversees the IRS, which also just happens to be controlled by Democrats. In fact, in addition to the media, he will only speak to House Republicans.

Strange, that.

Former GOP Rep. Denver Riggleman, who previously served as a senior technical adviser for the House select committee that investigated the January 6, 2021, attack at the US Capitol, is working with the legal team advising President Joe Biden’s son.

Riggleman’s work is similarly focused on assessing data issues. He is assisting Hunter Biden’s attorneys as they grapple with increasing scrutiny from House Republicans over business dealings involving the president’s son.

“I and my forensics, data, and telephony team are conducting data investigations and analysis for Hunter Biden’s legal team,” Riggleman told CNN in a statement, noting his concentration is on “data across the spectrum.”

A short comment on the forensics: making a fake document look real would require immense work to get all the hidden details of meta-data correct. A forger will always make a slip, magats are not known to be the brightest, except they may have had foreing rech support. Near to impossible is to create a fake email with all header records (not normally seen or viewed) to carry "valid" time stamps and IP addresses from sender and forwarding. Remember to add a fake attachment to look like a PDF was received etc ... And hope that the email account at the ISP matches.

I keep seeing how they are skeptical of the timing, how he was arrested so soon after their announcement... kinda makes it seem like they had some heads up about the arrest and decided to go public right before it just so they could use this narrative.
