Sickening. It's a sickness.

A sickness that they willingly, even happily, infest themselves with.

As I recall it, churches are really exempt regardless. So, as far as voluntary recission goes (and assuming he really did as he says), he's only (potentially) hurting his donors anyway, since he's still gonna reap the benefits of that sweet sweet taxfreeness.

501(c)(3) is the designation for charities. He's such a big man by giving up charity status which impacts his donors the most as they will no longer be able to deduct donations to the church. I assume the church would be tax-exempt under a different designation unless the IRS pulled that (which they have in some cases for "churches"). He is giving up his donor's benefit, not his own.

Lying sack of s***.
Edit: I rechecked the rules. Churches are exempt from filing taxes so yes, rejecting a 501(c)(3) which they don't even have on record anyway because it is generally automatic for churches, only hurts donors, not him and his "church."

He attached a bible to a baseball bat and beat up a Barbie Dream House. To expel the demons.

2 Corinthians 10:1-4 wrote:10 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
A prayer of the faux-faithful:

"O Lord, I pray thee show unto me that line of precious scripture with whose divine illumination I may continue in that blessed behavior of a jackass. Blessed be MY God, and f*** everyone else."

I am writing boldly on this post because I am not with you in person.
