It is particularly nice to see Cohen’s counsel quote Moore’s own judgements and Klayman’s (many) failures in this reply.

Moore has been a lawyer and a judge for HOW many years? And he couldn't read the contract or reign in his (overblown)sense of self importance? No sympathy from me. He got exactly what he deserved.

Northland sums it up well in entry #665 referring to narcissists.

According to a NY Times article on 7 January 2019:
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/07/us/p ... e=Homepage

... Alabama Democrats sandbagged Roy Moore by entangling him with a made-up prohibitionist crusade.
They evidently were aware that Alabamans might tolerate a middle-aged man who approached their daughters, but would draw the line at someone who would keep them cold sober.

Good for the Alabama Democrats I say! Yeah, disinformation isn't good, but when you live in a state full of nutjob asshats, some things are more important than purist principles. Especially when the opposition doesn't have such scruples.

Keeping Moore away from the seats of government and justice is one of those things.

Roy Moore, the Alabama Republican accused of preying upon underage girls and sexual misconduct, says he lost Senate race because of a “disinformation campaign” and is considering a rematch, via @thedeannapaul

Sen. Doug Jones (D-Ala.) may face Roy Moore, his 2017 special election opponent, in Alabama’s 2020 U.S. Senate race. The former chief justice of the state’s supreme court announced he is “seriously considering” a run in the upcoming election, during a Friday interview on American Family Radio, Reuters reported.

The special election arose after Jeff Sessions vacated the seat to become President Trump’s attorney general. Moore lost to Jones, a former federal prosecutor, by a small margin. In the Friday interview Moore claimed the seat was stolen by a Democrat-waged disinformation campaign.

“I think that’s been pronounced in the national newspapers — the New York Times, The Washington Post even — has recognized there was a disinformation campaign going on in September of 2017 by forces outside of Alabama that spent a lot of money not regulated by the FEC in trying to dissuade Republicans from voting and encourage and enrage Democrats,” he said to “Focal Point” host Bryan Fische.

Ballotpedia says in one place that Alabama is open primary and in another place that it is up to the political party.

Does anyone know?

Maybe you have to vote for whom the parties dictates in an open primary. It is Alabama and some of them probably like the Soviet method.

I think it may be the same it is here. You vote in whichever primary you want to, but you can't change parties if there is a run-off. I think it's called a semi-open?

That pretty well explains it all. A normal person doesn't have a thing for teens.

But he's grown out of that now. Now he prances around in a cowboy suit ;)

“Prancing around in a cowboy suit” was the most devastating one liner possible to describe Moore. Thanks Doug Jones.
